Buy-in List' for Wednesday CCC at MSAC: 13-Aug-2014 (limiting to 14 players) . Checking again our 'Buy-in List'. It's disappointing to find some CCCers are still 'buying-in' late (less than 48 hours before our session starts). We reduced our court booking to only 1 court. But now we are back to our usual 2 courts (lucky that MSAC says it is possible to do so, but to 10:00pm). MSAC will give our cancelled courts to others wishing to use them. By the way, many CCCers seem to be happy to do away with our 'Partnership List' (because only 2 pairs have been arranged). Therefore, we shall do away with our 'Partnership List'. Remember: Our 'Partnership List' is to be used for us to play our 'CCC Social Challenge Games' (with the main objective for scheduling our games). Albert Park Badminton Club and Wesley Badminton Club (at MSAC) . Someone asked: Why did chris-ccc recommend CCCers to play with APBC (Albert Park Badminton Club) at MSAC on Wednesday night (after CCC reached 'FULL HOUSE')? Answer: I was a APBC member before (before our CCC Badminton Club was formed); And I did enjoy playing with them (some 12 years ago). Actually, CCC Badminton Club wasn't initially meant to have any Social Games Sessions at all. CCC was initially formed only as a 'Coaching Club'. Our CCC Social Games Sessions only started after our CCC trainees requested me to commence Social Sessions for them (because them trainees weren't confident enough to play at established clubs). Really, CCC should say that APBC is our mother club. By the way, APBC have engage me later; to coach their club members (over the years). Another club, Wesley Badminton Club (in which I'm still a member), is another good club for CCCers to play in. Wesley Badminton Club plays every Monday night at MSAC (starting at 7:30pm, on Court No.10, 11 and 12). Ask to meet and to talk to John-W. Tell him that chris-ccc sends you there too. CCC Wednesday Night Social Games at MSAC needs a new organiser . I am actually getting quite tired organising our CCC Social Games Sessions. I think I should only be concentrating on our CCC CATS (Coaching And Training Sessions) (because that's what/why CCC was initially formed). If any CCCers would like to run our Wednesday Night CCC Social Games at MSAC; Please let us know. You'll need to pay fees to continue to register our CCC Badminton Club (at our Australian Clubs Registry); and to pay in club insurance (to protect our CCCers, if they get injured). All these, are extra expenses you'll need to think of. .

It's our 324th Wednesday Social Games Session at MSAC (after we have moved here permanently); and it will be our 30th for this year (2014). We do a 'Buy-in List':- (1) To welcome BadmintonCentral members to attend. (2) To ensure that players who have bought a place shall not be turned away. (3) To ensure that we have enough games for all players, it is best not to exceed 14 players. Hope that our 'Buy-in List' can be finalised by Monday. MSAC requires us to confirm our court-booking 24 hours before our session starts; and CCC wish to have 24 hours' notice before we organise/hire our courts from MSAC. Wednesday CCC at MSAC: 13-Aug-2014 (Some 2-against-1 'Singles' games after 10:00pm) . By the way, our regular Sunday CCC trainee, Timothy-T, is participating in a tournament this weekend, playing in the Singles event. I'm sure that Timothy would like to have some practise in Singles games. After 10:00pm, we shall have some Singles games of '2-against-1' for Timothy. Please let me know, if any 2 players would like to play this type of game with Timothy. .

Here is a short report for our Wednesday CCC at MSAC: 13-Aug-2014. * It's our 324th Wednesday Night Social Games Session at MSAC (after we have moved here permanently); and it's our 30th for this year (2014). * We thank CCCers for removing themselves when unable to attend (therefore allowing others to join in). As you know by now, if you have bought-in and didn't show, you will still need to pay for the session fee. Why? Because you have prevented others from taking your place (as CCCers do check in at the last hours). We hire courts from MSAC based on how many CCCers have bought-in; And MSAC charges our court fees if we cancel our courts within 24 hours before our session starts. * With 15 players attending, we used 2 courts from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. * It's great that Shanka-H is back with us (from the USA). * We have arrived at the 3rd month of our Winter Season (Jun, Jul, Aug). Changes based on inflation . I have just read Post#1 myself. Our current coaching fees are now (either $20 or $25 for the 2-hour session): * For CCC Club members, it is $20. * For visitors, it is $25. Over the 8 years (since our thread began), inflation has caught up. .
