Gao Ling wasn't using the Nanospeed 9000.

The three well-known users were Xie Xingfang, Park Sung-Hwan and Jens Eriksen. I use 'were' because China and Korea have now moved on to other sponsors and Uncle Eriksen might call it a day any moment now.

That leaves Kendrick Lee... and he has all but given up competitive badminton.

Yes, as you said, it will be interesting to see who wields this souped-up version at the All England and Swiss Open tournaments ;)

It will be interesting to find some of this year's AE winners wearing and playing with Li Ning or Victor shirts/shoes. That will take away some of the thunder that Yonex always makes at the AE with new racquets, etc.
It won't be long before we get a Li Ning "Ants" or a Victor "Ants" to give us more reviews or rather previews of "Make in China" racquets, shoes, etc.;)

Yonex stockists in the UK have pegged the launch price at GBP 170.
They must be working on the basis of an official Yonex price-list.

    See this page :)

    Improved NS9000X

    Hey Ants,

Is it true it's extra stiff? So the racquet can be said to be an improved NS9000X with better durability?

Is that correct? That'll be awesome. :D

    Dear Panda the wishful thinking,

This might be the perfect racquet you were looking for when we spoke a while ago.

Nice color scheme even if I still prefer the one of the AT 900P. Anyway it's in my opinion way more conservative than the paintjob of the NS 9k
