Hi bros, I am planning to buy arc 11 but I heard that compared to arc 10, arc 11 is harder to control and takes much more effort to smash ( because of head lighter)? is it all true?
I don't like my 3U Arc 11. Don't know why. Maybe I haven't spent enough time with it than I should .....
The Arcsaber 11 feels head heavy to me. Comparable perhaps to the Voltric 80? Not as head heavy as the Z-Force by a long shot. After using the Nanospeed 9900 and Z-Force(slightly), hitting with the Arcsaber feels different. With the Nanospeed and Z-Force, you feel the shuttle immediately bounce off. I suppose this is repulsion? When I hit with the Arcsaber 11, it felt almost cushioned. Would this be Yonex's term, hold? Smashes did not have that 'oomph' sound but they were solid. It felt like a very easy racquet to use. The feel of the racquet allowed me to whip out smashes. When getting used to the Z force, it took a session before I got used to the stiffness. Not so for the Arcsaber 11.
Bro, I just return from out of town. I'll use it this Saturday and see if I can share more with you ...
This 3U Arc11 (NBG 99 @ 24lbs), I really don't know how to describe it. Use it to play doubles. It's not particularly quick, it's not particularly powerful. Clears are ok, defences are ok, net shots are ok, attacks are ok. It's .... characterless, if I can coin such a word. It's a boring racquet. But I think it's the Indian, not the arrow. I just don't like it, sorry.
