Recieved my T2 today. Very nice. Although it had a paint bubble on the frame, but I don't think it'll cause trouble Very light racket (86g) compared to my ARC8DX & AT's, but a little heavy on the head (bp290), kinda like my Wilson K-Lite, but much more stiff. At first, when I hit the shuttle it felt very wierd, like I used tons of power with no output, but when the strings settled (at least I think so), it took my game to a whole new level Defence has never been easier, and it has a tad more control than my ARC8DX, which in the other hand has more power lying in the smashes, that I also find easier to hit with the ARC. But on every other point, the T2 oversteps the ARC8DX with a big margin. Well done Panda! ARC8DX sent on vacation (and I have just praised it to the skies only months ago).
UK buyers - behold An update for all those who've already paid for their rackets - they are strung and will be packed tomorrow. Eight rackets in four and a half hours (inlcuding two AT700 for a customer) - lucky there was sod-all on telly today! (Though I did have Mythbusters on in the background.)
That one is destined for a lady who wanted a light yet head-heavy racket. I got it from 282/83 to her desired 290/84.5 before stringing; the string has probably nudged it another one or two mm nose-wards. I also did a custom 295 for nutty - that one was trickier, taking two layers of tape, but it was dead-on 295.
Got my copy and just feels great! I must play with it a little bit more to give an impression. Thanks Panda!
Dan please let me know what is the right stringing method for this racket. Which strings do you recommend?
Dink doesn't like my go-to string because of its initial lack of control compared to his current mistress, Zymax 62. To each his own - my bootlace is cheap, strings well and is extremely powerful The T2 can take anything up to 32 lbs and still be usable, but at that tension the only ones I would recommend are Micropower and Zymax 70. Anything under 28 and I would agree with Dink that most people would find Zy62 to be perfect. I would recommend that everyone try it at least once!
UK Pandas go out tomorrow Update - all Panda buyers who've paid, your rackets are packed with as much bubble wrap as I could ram in there and still make Special Delivery. I'll be lugging them all to the post office tomorrow morning (and then queueing for twenty minutes while the pensioners get their bingo money out - sigh). Packed while half-watching Chelsea/Wigan - hehehehe.

Uk rackets are on the loose To anyone in UK who has bought and paid for a T2v2: your racket has been shipped. Took me two trips to the post office - I should have got a 9829 bag - but they're all out Special Delivery and should be with you tomorrow. I hace SD barcode numbers if any wants me to PM them. When you get your rackets, comment on my stringing is always invited - Panda-approved status is very important! M.
OK, now two again... Buyer of the 284/85 has backed out so that one is now available again. It also has a slight paint inconsistency, but less noticeable than the other's, so this one is £70 plus shipping/stringing. M.
my t2v2 has just arrived There is a small defect on it though - a fairly thin chip in the paint. So thin it looks like only something sharp could have cause it It's barely noticeable though As for stringing - there're 4 knots. That's about all I'm qualified to say Is there much/any difference between 4-knot and 2-knot method? Mark: As I asked for 24lb, does that mean you did 24x26? I've read here that the cross is meant to be about +2lb?
Personally, I take "give me X pounds" to mean X on the CROSSES and 0.9X on the mains (so Tom's would have been 22/24) - the mains get tightened as a by-product of pulling the crosses, so the bed actually ends up close to X/X, despite being pulled as 0.9X/X. It's been discussed more times than I can remember on BC! I agree there is an ambiguity here - it has been mentioned many, many times on BC and shows no sign of being standardized... W.r.t these paint blemishes, I have seen a few on the racket's I've sold - they look like "ridges" where the paint isn't completely flat. Luckily they don't have any effect on the racket's structure; I chose a blemished one myself.
I could, but i can't seem to wrap the first layer that well, and its not that smooth, if i wrap another on top, it'll prob be messed up. Also, right now, its at 281bp, i wanted closer to 290 but they didn't have any... another wrap on top will make the bp REALLY low XD
