I am from Klang and normally i will be playing in the Sunday morning but still feel fast with speed 77. We normally buy few brand and model and mix it up to play, so we can know the difference on each shuttlecock... Just feel the hitting feel not that solid compare to RSL Tourney No.1 & Tourney Classic and especially Yonex AS20 that I play usually... Just my personal opinion only... I might try out others higher spec RCL shuttlecock later on as I only try this RCL New Classic...
oic, so u r from Klang... my bro is in Klang too... maybe nx time i can pass to him a few and meet u up perhaps?
Yup, had tried the Titanium, and my group all agreed that its better then PT-10, Protech, and many brands dat we had tried (All range from $26-$29). Really highly recommend to all.
Thanks ya... haha... May be i can buy some from him to try... I have been to Butterworth yesterday and tried this RCL Platinum Gold but i just bought 1pc to try and it cost me RM5 from the court owner. It's quite ok but when hitting the cork is feel bit softer compare to others and my gf like it... Just curious how is the RCL shuttlecock range structure looks alike such as RSL will be bit like Official --> Silver Feather --> Tourney No.1 --> Tourney Classic......
Grade Structure Just curious how is the RCL shuttlecock range structure looks alike such as RSL will be bit like Official --> Silver Feather --> Tourney No.1 --> Tourney Classic......[/quote] Yeah better give us better grade structure with the pricing range too for our consideration. Thanks in advance Happy Badminton
The thing with RCL is we do 'OEM' to sports shops. Just like Tesco has their own Tesco tissues etc. However, our 'OEM' still put under RCL name but with some sport shops which we 'OEM' have their own models. However, there are 'OPEN' model that any sports shops can sell. Below are the 'OPEN' models for reference. 1.RCL No.1 (around RM65) 2.RCL Titanium (around RM56) 3.RCL Gold No.1(around RM51) 4. RCL Professional (around RM46) 5. RCL Super (around RM40) 6. RCL 1101 7. RCL 1102 8. RCL 1103 9. RCL 501 10. RCL 601 11. RCL 1104 Item 6 to 11 are more for beginners to school kids.
As you have noticed, some people like softer cork, some people like harder cork. It is like attacking players like heavy head racket and defensive players like lighter head racket. If I am not mistaken, if you are playing attacking game, harder cork let you feel more power. However, if you like to control ball, it is easier to control with softer cork. And one good thing about softer cork is, it will prolong your racket string lifecycle since less impact on the string. Penang (where Lee Chong Wei is from) people like softer cork, maybe (just wild guess) this is why Lee Chong Wei's game more towards controlling ball rather than attacking play. And maybe this is the reason RCL is so popular in Penang.
Is it available in Singapore? i ran out of stocks and can't go JB this weekend. We used the RCL Gold, i bought it from permai sports for RM50.
the one i bought in permai sports was Super gold i guess, the color same as shown above, last sunday a friend sold to me RCL Best Gold i think, which AFAIC, Super gold is much more stable and good in quality compared to BEst gold.correct me if i'm wrong, just our observation.
No no, sealion not so popular here (Penang) compared to RCL, though got people use. If you happen to drop by Penang, pay a visit to any badminton hall, you will know.
At last....i finally get hold of the RCL Gold No. 1 I ordered a few weeks back...whew....tmrw we will try this out...Thnks kkwn83....
hi kkwm83 .. sorry could not give a review earlier, but been generally busy. the shuttles are good .. durability is good .. last almost a game ... thank you again ..
Need two tubes for tomorrow session. Anyone with extra can sell to me? Pls contact me at 9821-6481. Thanks. - Jim
We don't have any direct dealer in USA yet. Sent to US before, but the postage fee is much higher compared to other countries, don't know why.
Got a tube of Black Gold and No.1 and a couple of Titanium. The black gold can last us 3 games!? Normally, the Titanium will last 1 game 1/2 for us! Flight is also consistant and it feels heavier then the Titanium. Maybe thicker feathers.
