I never tried those brand except Panda Power (excellent racket) but if I ever gonna buy a racket (not from Yonex or Victor) I would say: (in order) Panda power (for sure, as I tried it and it is pretty good.) flypower Arbi (mainly because I am curious about this Indonesian brand) gosen (looks pretty decent from the review) apacs (decent racket for decent price, what could you expect more if you are in budget?) and maybe RSL and ZELM (RSL because looks cool, ZELM because many good reviews)
arh.. there it was. Thanks Kwun. Perhaps there should have an update to the list after this long 5 years. Some may have successfully launched better rackets while others could have fallen into pale shadow.
Thanks Avenger, This is exactly what I'm hoping to open up to the other brands. Eg. if I'm on budget, I'll know I should look at Apacs threads to find suitable models & their comparison remarks; & if I'm into something cool or out of the norm, I can visit RSL or ZELM threads to explore further.
There is another thread, I think it already reached 100 brands(?) ... "... and thus endeth the collective overview manner attempt" , was already going to be my first comment when there were no replies yet (because you can indeed not edit after 15 minutes so this thread will go on endlessly or die down swiftly and anonymously within a week or so)
This thread is quite similar to what you are attempting (can't seem to find the brand thread), shouold be some usefull info in it: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...on-Yonex-badminton-brand-name?highlight=brand
Not in particular order RSL - Apacs - ZELM - Panda - FZ Forsa - Calton - ProAce - Gosen - Mizuno - Sintec - Wilson - Kason - Linnex - Sotx - Dunlop - Winex - Fleet - Flypower - Black Knight - Ashaway -
Perhaps moderator can help to merge threads although many new rackets/tech have been introduced since then. Thanks.
Gosen - Ryoga Shiden is extremely nice. The shaft is stiff and sturdy. Makes my Yonex VT80 and AT900PLC shaft look like a joke when comparing stiffness. The handle is APPARENTLY made of carbon as oppose to wood. The paint job is SUPERB!
finnex is good in quality, i have one titanium 300 which just cost me rm150 but it was better than other rm200++ rackets.
Thanks guys for adding up the list. Not in particular order Victor - Li Ning - RSL - Apacs - ZELM - Panda - FZ Forsa - Calton - ProAce - Gosen - Mizuno - Sintec - Wilson - Kason - Linnex - Sotx - Dunlop - Winex - Fleet - Flypower - Black Knight - Ashaway - Finnex - Kawasaki - Wish - Hart - Head - Astec - RKEP - Babolat - Yang Yang - Top Pro - Fukuda -
