Yeah I gotta say I do want them to bring out a 305mm BP net MXwhatever myself.

MX90, just watch ;) My guess is December release.

Can someone explain to me why Victor - as a Taiwanese company - gives first dibs to China when it comes to new product???

I think what you feel is perfectly normal. You need stiffer racket as your swing speed increase. Otherwise all your swing power is wasted on the racket bending but not reaching your hit. Stiffer racket bend and straighten faster so more energy is directed to your hit. Also when in continual smashes, if too flexible, the recovery for next shot is slower. there is a thread somewhere about golf shaft stiffness that makes a very good analogy of this.

because China is by far Victor's biggest market. Victor is probably as large as Yonex in China if not bigger. and China is HUGE.

Largest market there. They use china to tell them how popular the racquet will be so they can make a guess on how many to make and ship to distributors in other countries. Though with the MX80 I think they mis-judged, everyone wants one but few get them. And currently I am soo angry. My brother is a very aggresive fool and he smashed his racquet against my mx80 after I had hit the shuttle and it has a massive chip! :-( I almost cried.

Available in September in Taiwan, but I'll be overseas for all of September so it would be nice if it was sooner.

I suspect it will be in China, so if all you native readers/speakers can keep your eye out of the rest of us, that would be great :D

Indications are August for China and September for Taiwan / SE Asia. North America likely 2 months after that.

Strung with BG68Ti. I'm off the VS850 because it dropped tension, seemed to level off, but has now dropped some more. I hear the black and blue is much better, but I'm over it.

Hopefully the 68Ti will be better, and if not, I also have some of the new fluro red ZM67 coming which will look insane on the SW35 and MX80!

Makike Tier, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but in my experience, I think BG68ti, is one of the few strings that's as bad, if not worse at holding tension than VS850!

Zymax 67 is however excellent in this respect, so you won't be disappointed with that.
Let us all know how you get on!

It also plays a LOT softer than even the medium feeling VS850, so if you haven't already had it strung/chosen your tension I'd say add at least a pound to your normal (more likely two or three) tension to allow for the tension loss and softer feel.

Good news is, it's not a bad string and some guys I play with really like it. :)
