sounds like a shopping inquiry. this thread is for those who already own the racket(s).

Well in general, yes and it's also more fragile because of less material. Also the 4U of the AT800's has a tendency to overswing.

You can get 4U if you want, it was just my expression at the time I posted.

Ok, well I committed to buying this racquet, so I might as well say I own it, I just need to pick it up. It sounds like a small technicality of "shopping question" vs "owning the racquet question" if you ask me. Isn't it too late to find out that it's fake after I buy it anyways?

Could someone please check now? Thanks for your efforts. I really do appreciate this service.

Hi Matt, I do agree with your assessment of the fragility of the 4U models. I am buying because I like the racket and this is a good price.

    Cheers.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex AT800DE shaft Serial:5336634; Cone Date Code:210154TH (date=21 Jan 2005) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
