Though we have local festival continuously for the next four days starting from tomorrow, i will definitely wont miss tomorrow's women's singles final atleast. Its going to be a great fight between home favourite SJH and come back shuttler Shixian.. . It will be 50-50 chances. My vote goes to SJH.
Very few players are as talented as Lin Dan, Lee CW or Chen Long. The great majority has to slog and slog like mad and still achieve less than stellar results. So what DuPY has attained so far, though without a single title to his name yet, by sheer hard work, determination and dedication to the sport is very encouraging and exemplary. Likewise for Sony DK. Both DuPY and Sony are worthy opponents, equally to be honoured, winner and loser alike.
Er, I am not a Taufik fan btw. I started following badminton when he was already past his best. But I wouldn't forget this if I were you:

YONEX BWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010 MS

Chong Wei Lee [1]

-

Taufik Hidayat [5]

15-21 21-11 12-21

CP was not at her best today...chinese pair played well but ultimately it was because the danes were not motivated that lead to their loss
Jung Kyung Eun and Kim Ha Na should eat more I'm surprised Kim Ha Na could even pick up a racquet with those stick arms
The performance Koo Kien Kiat/Tan Boon Heong in their semi-final clash against the South Korean pair, Lee Yong Dae/Ko Sung Hyun, was just pathetic, losing easily 17-21 and 11-21. The Korean pair which was formed following the retirement of Chung Jae Sung after the London 2012 Olympics had to play in the qualifying rounds in tournaments very recently and yet now they are able to subdue KKK/TBH easily. What's wrong? Tan Kim Her has done a lot for this pair and obviously the Malaysian pair have to do something for themselves.
It's not such a surprise that KKK/TBH lost to LYD/KSH. They had two extremely close games, where they both won one each at the end of 2012. That was when the Korean partnership had only just started; but now that they have had a bit more time to improve as a pair it's only logical that the gap between them and the Malaysians get further apart, unless the Malaysians do something about their fitness which is what let them down yesterday. You've got to remember that LYD and KSH were already one of the best MD players in the world before they got together. KKK/TBH have little chance of beating the Koreans unless they improve their fitness, especially in a tournament like the Korea Open where the shuttles haev always been slow.
