There is another person who stringed rackets in the WA area, I do not recall their name - would not recommend him either because the knot was something like that too. Not only that, the tension which was claimed to be stringed at was not accurate as it was low and that was with my own racket. As for BC, I believe Azn already mentioned it.

There are at least 6 stringers I'm aware of in Seattle area. It's pretty much word of mouth and I think the price is in the range of $15 to $20 USD.
Starting knot Yes, that is one of the 2 types of starting knots some stringers use, but not used as an ending knot.

Hey LB, is "lightning" your stringing signature ??? I have seen that on many racquets at the Brooklyn badminton club.
Yes, you got that one. The reason I put it on, is several times, some ppl accuse me doing a poor job, while they were actually receive the service from someone else. I don't know they simply made a mistake (i.e. friends brought their rackets to someone) or intentionally try to rip me off. Luckily, each time I can prove to them by showing the different string type, pattern or knotting. Afterward, I decide to "promote" my own string job, and avoid any confusion. Did you come to BBC as a regular? Maybe we can meet up some day? Just don't laugh at my lowly playing skills, though.
Not to question about your source. However, I received mixture of feedback regarding this store. I was once told by several college club players, as their rackets were screwed from there. I think it might be different stringer working for different shifts. Therefore, if your racket end up into some newbie (at least, regarding badminton rackets) stringers hand, good luck.
Actually I have been to BBC just once. And then a guy who sometimes comes to play at our club also had the symbol. So I just made a guess Actually I was thinking of getting my racquet strung at Paragon, but I am skeptical about it. And yea we can definetly meet up one day, either at BBC or NYBC.

How much do you charge for stringing? Hello again! I've been wondering, how much do people generally charge for stringing? I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and I'm charging $15 for labour and $5 for BG-65 or $7 for BG-80s if they don't have strings. But then I hear the local store charging $40 for stringing with BG-65s and it doesn't seem to be that great of a stringing job too... is $15 too little? Thanks!
I feel $15 total for string (BG65) and labor is a good price. $18 total is a fair price if it is a good stringing job.
tons of info if u search. SH, have u forgot your own thread? http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45811&highlight=stringing+charge
Oh sorry... should have known there was a forum like this on stringing! Thanks again for referring me to the right place!
