Hong Kong is leading the host 2:0 but in trouble in the third match. Hong Kong should eventually prevail by winning the fourth or fifth match, if not coming back in the third. Live coverage should be available here tomorrow: http://v.gdtv.cn/option/com_content/ItemId/98/ Local time 9am for Women's team event and 8:30pm for Men's team event.
Not bad, Chen Jin is still on top of his game. Playing for Jiangsu, he's just beaten Gao Huan of Liaoning, the host, 2:0, 21-18 and 24-22. Anyway, the CNG will be Chen Jin's swan song.
Chen Long is playing Chen YueYun right now, 21:21 in the first game: http://v.gdtv.cn/option/com_content/ItemId/98/
Wah, Huang Yuxiang (Zhejiang) upsets Du Pengyu (Beijing), 2:0, 21-14 and 21-15. Now, Lin Dan is playing Wong Wing Ki, hope to catch the livestream,if any.
Just now, from the livestream, I thought Chen Yuekun was attacking quite well against Chen Long despite losing in two sets. Frankly, the last time I watched him at the MAS Open'13 GPG , he seemed to have improve a lot, particularly the way he disposed of Darren Liew, but in the semi-final, he suddenly lost the plot in the rubber set to Alamsyah Yunus, playing into his opponent's hands with his predictable (and mechanical) attacking shots that were dented by Yunus time and time again, disappointing that he couldn't vary his shots, mixing and matching them to confuse the opponent. That's why I think he won't go far, IMHO.
Going by livescore, Wong Wing Ki was routed by Lin Dan in G2, 21-6, after losing G1, 21-17 to him; an emphatic victory by LD. Wish I can see the replay later.

Liu Jie's unbeaten run continues, whose scalps include WYH and Han Li earlier, now it's Yao Xue's turn to fall prey. Is she another up-and-coming youthful player? Any biodata on her?
Definitely she should be something special. I don't think Li Han and Yao Xue are of the same class to Yihan. Yihan might be tired or injured . May be she is saving herself for china masters..!!!. Who knows.. Anyhow, would you be able to get us the videos of this girl's matches with yihan, li han and yao xue.??
No luck, I'm also looking for the videos. As for Liu Jie, if she's not even 18 yrs old, that's something, shows good potential and promise, just like the barely 16-yr-old He Bingjiao. However, I don't take it that juniors or youngsters who've displayed some noteworthy results will definitely go on to perform very well later in adult life; it's not necessarily a natural progression. On the contrary,it's common knowledge that many promising juniors more often than not fail to live up to expectations as they age and quietly fade into oblivion. To me it's not a question of how young or old a player is when s/he reaches the top as long as s/he achieves it in the end at whatever age; doing it when young means more potential and opportunities for further successes; doing it when old is all the more admirable for proving that experience and perseverance coupled with the requisite talent can work wonders.
In the decider,Lin Dan stamps his authority, 21-10, to take the match. Seems to me that anybody who tries to beat LD with fast and furious attacking game had better make sure he can do it consistently in three games, forget about winning it in two. LD is such a complete player and highly intelligent too, in being able to constantly analyze his not-so-familiar opponent during play.
