The doc was willing to give me MC because I also had fever, but I declined because I already took 3 days off.

But it seems I may have to forego the afternoon matches as I was told to see the Dental
Clinic dentist at 2 pm. I'm now waiting for my turn again as I tried hard to fight the fever and toothache. Looks like I have to return home for a rest after this delayed appointment.

4 match pts squandered by Lindaweni & she lost 6 straight pts to throw the match away. Disappointing!!!

    Petya win 21-11, 14-21, 22-20

    Important notes:
    repeated mistakes for INA player
today is Linda. after leading 11-4 to 13-15
    then from 20-16 to 20-22

    sigh... :(

I'm off now. Hope someone will have live report for next coming interesting matches.

The mental strength of Petya Nedelcheva brings her into R/16, saved 3 match points and took 5 consecutive points at decider to beat Lindaweni Fanetri, 21-11 / 14-21 / 22-20. Linda wasted good chance, sigh!

He'd better have a good explanation for Gopi! :D
Meanwhile, Hu Yun is very casually forging ahead in game 2...

Sourabh coes back at Hu Yun with a clutch of fierce smashes, and then throws it all away with an overconfident smash that goes long, now Hu Yun leads 10-7

From 15-5 to 17-20. Simon and Sony might be able to hold the fort for 2 or 3 more years. After that... :crying:

Take care and have a good rest. Watch badminton as an alternative source of medication.
