This is for Malaysian BCer adults only (no schoolkids). Please fill in your names if you have represented in either category stated below.
An MSSDaerah player is someone who represents his school to play against players of other schools within the schools confined district.
An MSSNegeri player represents his district against players of other districts within the state of those districts.
State, national back-up, and national players are not included.

am I considered as an adult? I am 21 this year. :D I have represented my district before. So, I am an ex MSS Negeri player. Mine is MSSPK (Majlis Sukan Sekolah Perak), back in 2005. :) Between, I want to ask what's the purpose for this?

Lol ! until Keong explain, we can only assume that he is looking for strong players to play with. If not, why is he posing this thread in "place to play/Local event"? Maybe wanna organize event just for strong players..... (guessing)

aiyo! firstly, just for everyone's convenience in identifying a list of old boys who had served his school or district. i noticed from other threads that it was difficult to term average, intermediate, or whatever. some videos did not properly gauge the levels of play. some played like not they talked, vice versa. some organized "audition sessions" to find "same-level" playing partners. i say tak payah lah. by declaring if one is MSSD, or MSSN is enough to tahu lebih kurang of one's standard. it will also be good to know the period of representation.

about play, we will see to it when the list sufficiently allows for a team event (3 singles and 2 doubles). this was the format we played right?

I cant represent school right now since my school didnt make selection to present for school , so next year , I already had a friend(senior) and we will request teacher to make one(selection) . To be true , I can play for school or even high level , everyday I train to be a badminton player , if still teacher dont want to make selection , I will definately change to other school!!
And I am school boy btw , just want to luahkan perasaan over here

    hey guys,

there will not be any background check. put your name in either column.

this is what i am saying that too many assumptions on one's game ie. average, intermediate, advanced, amateur international, etc.

let's create a data bank of us BCers' based on MSSD, and MSSN. i say it is sufficient. former nationals and back-ups, that's another story.

for students, there are plenty of age group tourneys to participate. get student tournament information from the education and sports ministries to find out more.
