If Afiat Yuris Wirawan/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia indeed beat the top-seed, they are likely to face Liao Min-Chun/Chen Hsiao-Huan in R16 today.

Mohd Rizki Delynugraha/Richi Puspita Dili should face Ong Jien Guo/Chong Sock Chin [3] in R16.

In MD, Afiat Yuris Wirawan/Rendy Sugiarto will face a stern-test against the top-seed Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya in R16. Fernando Kurniawan/Wifqi Windarto [6] should progress to QF.

In WS, Rizki Amelia Pradipta will probably lose to the second-seed Sayaka Sato.

In MS, if Ary Trisnanto won yesterday, he should face no problem in progressing to R16 where he will be expected to face Lu Qicheng [16]. Nandang Arif Saputra and Seto Danu Kusuma are likely to lose today in R32.

I'm sure you're pleased to see that not one of these 4 singles predictions came true. The two Indonesian players won their R32 matches and both Lu and Sato are no longer in Indonesia's way.

    Did you mean:
    - Rizki Amelia Pradipta won
    - Seto Danu won
    - Nandang won
    - Lu Qicheng lost
    - Sayaka Sato lost?

A few shocking results as Lu Qicheng [15] lost to Mohd Ismail Mohd Syawal and Sayako Sato [2] lost to Pai Hsiao-Ma in the first-round yesterday

Ary Trisnanto will face either the MAS player of Chou Tien-Chen for a place in the QF.

Alamsyah Yunus also beat Derek Wong [6] and he should face no problem in progressing to the QF.

In the WS, Mazziyah Nadhir progressed to R16 and another tough match against Hung Shih-Han beckons. Meanwhile, Rizki Amelia Pradipta will face Pai Hsiao-Ma for a place in the last 8.

In MD and XD, the match-ups are as expected. Hendra Mulyono/Ayu Rahmasari will now face Hendra Wijaya/Shinta Mulia Sari for a place in the last 8.

Are you thinking of Li Yisheng? Lu Qicheng was the Asian Junior Champion in 2005 so I'd say badMania is correct in calling it an upset.
