It's good. I don't really care too much about smashing though, it's not really a major priority.

Ask me again in a couple of weeks. :)

I'm testing both of these rackets in about an hour - lucky me:). I'll post a compare/contrast once I'm done.

I like the BS11 a lot !!! It has a nice balance stiffness etc, (slightly not as stiff as I like ) I am still not sure about this raket, I want to try the other rackets ( most notably SW35 and BS10) before I settle on one. I will send it back to Victor UK, when they send out by SW35

Been playing more with both rackets, some added personal opinion on both.

For times that I really need faster speed/defense/counter tatics I def reach for the BS11. With it not being as stiff as the BS10 I can defend much better and it allows for easier counter smash returns (cross court, or drop, etc.). It all depends on who I will be playing as I know some of my opponents are faster and have big smashes.

As for times where I feel like I am going to play very aggressive from the back court, the BS10 def PACKS a punch, and great control for drops from the back. Defense is not a problem just not as "controlled" as the BS11 IMO.

Again I play 100% mens doubles.

    BS10 vs BS11

Had a bloody good go with both of these yesterday - some findings:

BS10 - a wonderful, WONDERFUL racket. Slightly head heavy, decent stiffness. Head slices through very nicely, and the power/effort ratio is very high. Beautifully judged.

BS11 - compared to the BS10 this is noticeably more head heavy, more flexible, and more whippy. This lead to less power for me, and it was a bit more wayward control-wise, but still a good rear-court racket.

Build quality and fit-and-finish on both is outstanding, and neither is anything like the bamboo-with-a-doorknob-on-the-end BS08. Given my style of play (counter/control doubles), the BS10 had the edge for me, and the bonus is it's the cheaper of the two. BS10 gets 4.5/5 and the BS11 gets 4/5.

I should add that the rackets weren't gripped identically - 11 was factory and 10 was gripped to Paul's spec. This may have nudged the 10's balance down slightly.

Personally, I feel BS10 is slightly head heavy compared to BS11.

Somehow, I received comments from friends saying its the other way around.

    Too stiff?

So far based on observation, seems like a lot of people selling Brave Sword 10 and 11 after using it for a while. Are those 2 racquets too stiff for most people?

I currently have 1 BS10 also, base on my comparison. SW35 is stiffer. BS10 which is 4u is not that stiff.

Maybe is because BS series is light and aero frame doesn't give as much power compared to box frame. And user might not have given enough time to get used to it as well.

The 11 is not too stiff for me. I like the accuracy of a stiff racket - things go where you hit them. ;)

Had a chance to test a few Victor rackets yesterday, and the BS 10 was fantastic! It was the first on I played with, and I liked it straight away. I had a replacement grip on it, so it may have altered the balance slightly, but the racket felt so solid, and the power felt effortless. The 11 felt a bit heavy and cumbersome for my taste, but some people may like a slightly heavy racket, and are able to utilize that weight. To conclude, I would say that Victor have released a line of rackets to challenge anything Yonex have to offer.

With my two cents, that makes four cents:D. Exactly as I called it.
