The teaming up of Xue and Vien is legendary. I remember watching a couple of their games. Vien plays at the net as the lady role and Xue is at the back. Once again this just shows the level of shame from Max Power has no bounds.
How good is Wii? Hi Don't mean to disrupt the flow of Max Powers'A grade adventure story... But someone mentioned Wii badminton. Anyone know how good it is? If this is comparable to the tennis in Wii Sport, that not bad. Sorry if off topic... Andy
Andy, How come you got the login name of AndrewS? AndyS was taken eh. Sorry, haven't tried it myself. Vien has a Wii, so he may have.
Vien you make it sound like she was Fijian (is that how you spell it?). Trying to confuse everyone again.
In 5 years you've only post 4 times and 50% of that was in the last 24 hours in this thread Gees Andy u really dont blog much. But to answer your question i dont know havent got the wii badminton game yet .. but if you go to youtube and search for wii badminton you'll see alot of clips of people really going over the top playing it ..
Not really looking for more kason, I'm trying a few sotx racket ryu has to see which one I'll get ... kason has served me well for the last 2 years but its time to move on, to step up to D2 level
Vien Thanks very much. (very much is added to get to >15 characters. you know you can't submit a reply less than 15 characters!!!!) Andy
If you're referring to the one sold as Sports Island here, I tried it, but it's not great. Controls are a bit iffy. e.g. when doing net shot, you can't do "slow" movements (e.g. just moving the racquet to position) - it won't register. Takes a bit getting used to and there's still that "lag" in playing shots. Overall, quite OK, but a bit disappointing. Might see some of you on the JTULTRA/MUBC, if you're playing on Sundays (I'm playing C grade MD
Thanks Hagane I checked out the youtube video (thanks to Vien). It looked fun. The jump smash move should help me get one step closer to my dream. But I also checked out games rating web sites. Their comments confirm yours. I might buy it if it gets really cheap. Andy
Below is the entry form for the UNSW open/graded .. unfortunately its in two weeks time 15/16 March and not during easter even though its call the "UNSW Easter Open" http://www.badminton.unsw.edu.au/links/tournaments/2008/2008_UNSW_Easter_Open%5B1%5D.pdf
I can't go as I have to work. Vien you can go to pick up the D grade trophy. Looks like the next trip will be to the Ballarat competition.
Yes you're right its the 2008 entry form, my mistake .. although I'm still blaiming Carl for the error.... Well according to Badminton NSW http://www.badmintonnsw.org.au/calendar.html The UNSW easter tournament is on 28/3/2009 and 29/3/2009 ...anyone interested in trophy hunting in NSW bye
Did some research and a weekend badminton in sydney will cost ... $65 for flight on jetstar from avalon to sydney .. and another $65 to fly back from sydney to avalon $130 per night for twin share accommodation, maybe 3 nights so ($390 or $195 each if 2 people) $60 per day spending money, and/or $500 per night if you're intending to visit sydneys famous red light district plus tournament cost maybe $40 So roughty $505 each for a D grade trophy from UNSW .. I think its worth it
