I'm right in thinking this is a rematch from last week? Sony shouldn't be so fatigued this time as it's a first round game, Du has only just played a final, so it could be a role reversal of last week. Or at least a more even encounter from the fitness point of view.

It's almost 11 am now in SIN.

But I'm still not at the SIS yet. Instead I'm at the polyclinic with a swelling on the right side of my face due to an infection on my gums, waiting my turn to see the doctor.

I hope to make it to the SIS in the afternoon. But when I checked the results first thing in the morning, I was disappointed that our London Olympic-bound Gu Juan lost to Porntip, seemingly one of her most difficult opponents. With this kind of performance so near to the big event, there is not much hope for her in LOG I'm afraid.

However I was surprised to see our other girls surviving R1 and our MD also. Hopefully before the day's end SIN will see more of it's players advancing to R2.

But I stayed back late last night (2.45 am) to watch England scoring a goal against Ukraine through Rooney to help England enter the QF. Ukraine was unfortunate to have a goal
    disallowed.

Porntip paid off her last minutes exit from OG-qualification track, caused by Juan Gu.

Juan Gu, Ratchanok Inthanon, and Porntip are current 3 best WS players in the world
but IMHO, when INA, SIN, THA, even MAS WS play each other, seems that they have relatively same chances.

How were you able to stay up late with a swelling on the right side of your face? What did the doctor say? Did he give you MC so that you can go and watch SO?
