I think it should be SHB-F1M (Power Cushion F1 Men) instead of the (EX coded) SHB-F1LTD.

they may look plain but they work who cares?

I noticed a lot of players using these shoes at All England. One or two non Yonex players were also wearing them.

The question is, at the price they are selling for, will they be a good seller or benefit you as a player?

In England these shoes are pretty expensive the online price for most online shop sell this pair for £87.99

Which isn't eye catching. If you agree with me ?

Bearing in mind RRP is £120 that's not a bad price. But, I think they are way too expensive comparing to other shoes. Also you need to take into account potentially how long they will last.

Players who wear out shoes quickly should avoid these at all costs.

After a month of using F1 LTD, 3 times a week, i can say that they wont last as long as the 102LTD.
Probably due to their great lightness!

I contemplated getting these but ended up going with the SC5 instead. Mostly the same tech in them but at £64 vs £87 I couldn't really warrant the extra cost for a slightly lighter shoe as I'm not a high level player. I just get sore feet/blisters easily so will spend a bit more to spare myself discomfort. Last night after 3 hours of pretty continuous play my feet weren't sore at all compared to the SHB 72 shoes I had before (insole was completely flattened at ball of foot and heel). Also the rebound from the 3 layer power cushion was very noticable after any lunge, haven't tried dropping eggs on it though :p

The wave pattern does make the insoles feel like your sock has bunched up or something else gone wrong to begin with but doesn't take long to adjust to.

I got my shoes on Saturday and I noticed the plastic "Flywire" type topcoat doesn't really conform to the foot like traditional shoes do. The shoes don't have any kind of overlay in design that helps move with the foot. It doesn't flex well with the soles. Here is a pic:

Once they are laced up though, you won't notice this as much. There is very little material in the uppers of these shoes, especially the togue.
Here is the weight of the shoe compared to some others in 25.5cm:

Overall, the shoes are ok, but not really worth the premium if you are going to pay the full retail price.

    Yes, Wave Fang. http://shuttle-house.com/new-cgi/product_list-en.php?ko=18&mk=MIZUNO
Highly recommended for grip. The Wave Smash has better cushioning because there is a space in the heel to collapse.

So far, I found the ShbF1 a pretty tight fit. You may want to get a half size bigger. The cushioning is quite good on the F1, especially when you strike the heel directly. The forefoot seemed just ok. I think the Asics provides the best cushioning if you have gel in the entire shoe. However, the weight of the shoe is usually heavier. I haven't tried the Gel Blade yet or some Asian market ones in a long time.

I had a look at AChan's photos of the 2012 Hong Kong Open. Hendra Setiawan was also using a white racket and I was wondering if its a new model.

friend of mine F1-MX with of couple of months usage which his level is intermediate and not agressive player... he claimed that his front side become wide and wider... he feels there is movement of his foot inside n he is not very comfortable with it eventhough the laces has been tied tighter
