am i the only one who does not think as highly of this string? maybe it is just me, because i have not played with BG80 long enough. but i have played with it a "considerable" amount and i find it weird.

i may not be contacting properly on the sweetspot of the racket, but when i do connect i just get this weird swishing sound as if i did not even hit it at all. i have played with BG80 for a while now so it is kind of frustrating.

swishing sound but no bang?... sounds like you're twisting the racket head slightly causing you to get a non flat contact, ever so slightly slicing the shuttle.

i was doing this last year. worked on my swing and no i get 'boom', instead of 'swish' :)

I love bg80s the thing I don't like about them is when I was stringing my racquet the awl popped the string. And they seem to show wear really quick.

You use the awl when stringing? That is one sure way of popping strings and weakening grommets and racquet frame.

I don't know... I've had BG-80 on my rackets for around 3 months, and they're still in tact, and still around the same tension... Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Anywho, I definitely agree that BG-80 strings are amazing. I used to use BG-65Ti, and when I switched from BG-80, I was like "wow this is amazing". When I used my friends racket (same racket, strung with BG-65Ti), my shots were lacking something =X
