Quoted from the BWF: In another fortunate coincidence, China’s Guo Zhendong-Xie Zhongbo enjoyed Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng’s misfortunate injury - the top seed walked off their meeting and the second best Chinese duo will now have a shot at a semi-final spot when they take on Korea’s Lee Yong Dae-Jung Jae Sung – last week’s winners in Birmingham. However, it was a different scenario with the Danes as veterans Jens Eriksen-Martin Lundgaard refused to bow out easily and stretched their compatriots, Mathia Boe-Carsten Mogensen all the way before exiting the Swiss Open. In fact, the contrasting wins has set many a tongue wagging amongst members of the media as a worrying trend is emerging with many withdrawals and walkovers whenever players from the same nationality take to court, heightened by the intense competition for Olympic Games qualifying points. So, now, even the BWF is beginning to get suspicious Hopefully, they WILL take some action.
This is a good one here..... In fact, the same fans might be cheering for Korea’s Lee Yong Dae- Lee Hyo Jung in the other quarter final, to avoid another all Chinese confrontation and a potential injury in case two Chinese teams are meeting. Yup....the MAJORITY of us are with the writer and the fans at St Jakob's Halle.
If that is real Sairul may get a chance, but seriously do you still think it is real?!?! LD in straight set, 20% for Sairul to steal a game and force rubber.
All 4 of them: Candra-Tony-Kido-Hendra are from the same INA club, Jaya Raya. The club is led by Ms. Retno K. So... if there is any match-fixing today, maybe we can accuse her of being a LYB... Ha ha ha, just kidding, just kidding... Ms. Retno is not like LYB at all... She's upright in this manner. I don't believe she will ever ask her pupils to throw away matches...
Roslin Hashim has stretched Lin Dan to rubber before, that was when LD was fit. Roslin is 32, Sairul = 31. Sairul seems to be having resurgence, so, maybe steal a game from the knee injured LD. LCw also could win France Open with knee injury, so LD should be able to beat Sairul
Now only 2.38 pm Swiss time. 1st match with Msian is 1 am, now you either go sleep 1st or do downloading of the 1st rd vids. Vaido, Demolidor have uploaded the vids, so.. Western & Spore bandwidth so good, no lagging
Would love to see the match between TH vs Bao if anyone is planning to upload the match to a site. Live stream doesn't seems to work here
If all matches are accessible on Swiss Open site should be ok, then someone will record & upload. The quality they uploaded is clear. Hiyaaa Sudket/Saralee will play Nova/Liliyana. I like both pairs, hmmmm, who won less titles? Should be the Thais right? This time support the underdog
