Yeah in May. When I re-bought one, even the stores didn't have a 3U in stock anymore. I don't want to mess with adding weight to the head with the 4U.....

No idea. I didn't have spec OCD back then. I even had the original grip wrapper intact under the Karakal 0.75mm overgrip. The racket felt quite heavy compared to my 3U Vt-80.

From my experience the MXJJS(3U) is a tad heavier than the MX80(3U) and less head heavy. But I can only compare various MX80's with one MXJJS. Maybe this MXJJS is a heavier and less head heavy sample. Victor isn't known for its constantly reproduceable specs. ;)

You're gonna have to start measuring your racket specs like some of us... ;)

I measure all my rackets. My cherry picked MX80's were dry 88g/297mm, 89g/295mm, 89g/296mm. The MXJJS wasn't mine. Was a friends on, who didn't measure it. But he also use towel grip but BG65 instead of my VS850 string and the MXJJS felt heavier and was less head heavy.

factory grip has been removed. I currently like the way the grip feels and have a tournament this weekend so I don't want to take it off in case I have to use this beast at some point. If I remember I will check the exact grip weight when I get back

It's going to weigh about 12 grams. I towel from a roll and it's always a little different

Factory grip is 6g. So in effect it's like adding a G09 grip onto factory grip.

So your monster of a JJS has a dry head wt of approx 41.8g!

    Measurement must be wrong.

visor, did you have a closer comparison of your 4U against Eddie's 3U version on Tuesday night session?

Sorry... didn't get a chance. Too busy trying to adjust to it. Played half a game but had to switch back to my usual APP when the game became tougher... and it was only supposed to be a warm up game. :p
