UChida Shizuka is badminton women player i like best. I used to take o picture with her in Hanoi-Vietnam, where she took part in a challenge. Today, she is playing in hanoi, too but i'm so busy that i can't see her. I want to know the information of her, who help me? example: birthday, facebook or her site..... Thanks at all. I love Japan.

Name changes for Sanyo badminton team. With effect from 1st April 2011, it is known as Panasonic Badminton Team because Sanyo is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation.

I really hate all these mergers and acquisitions. Less companies to fight it out in the badminton leagues [IMG].

I think this is not her page.
Her name is Uchida Shiduka. Japanese hiragana spell is not same. Shizuka is Doraemon's friend, Nobita's madonna.
I also like her. She is cute. Her footwork very quick. If she get more ability of front difence and strategy she will grow stronger.
She is not now belongs National A in Japan this year. But her potential is same high as Eriko Hirose.

Who is Riichi Takeshita? He was very impressive in the NZ International Challenge. He grabbed the title after beating : Hu Yun, Hsu Jen Hao, Muhammad Hafiz Hashim and Wong Wing Ki all in straight games to win!

I am not sure, haha... But I know many of the Japanese can actually write and read English well, they have problem only in speaking and listening. Sometimes, they write better English than me! Haha

hmm... I think that's her page, there are some private photos uploaded by her. Yes, her name should be Shiduka. But I am curious why she uses Shizuka. But according to the NBA's latest update, she is still in the B team.

Riichi was born in Saga-ken on 28 July 1989. He is 21 now. He is now a third year student of Keiwa College. He is not that famous actually... That's why I am very surprised by his performance in NZIC.

Ha ha, you can always ask her. But I haven't seen the name Shiduka before. Do they periodically upgrade their players to the A team?

Strong legs and a good balance. It bodes well for her future in badminton [IMG]. Thanks again to noluckjim for all the photo uploads [IMG].

    As a spectator? :D

I saw her with Kurihara Ayane at the Dutch Open GP in 2008(?) qualifying. After hearing Kurihara was supposed to be some hot girl, standing next to them Uchida was the cuter one :p. But both were impressive in their play, typical high pace - good technique JP style; lightyears ahead of our '89 girls ...

Here is one of her matches (not the best of angles ) http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...ch-Open-2008?p=1007442&viewfull=1#post1007442
[IMG] Woops I see part 2 is no longer available!

Yes she still not strong than Eriko Hirose or Ai Goto. But she has much potential. like Maria Febe.

They should do a world tour to help their fellow country men. Should be fronted by Reiko, since she is the most senior in the team? ;)
