Adi Pratama beat Adnan Fauzi to lift his first ever Sirnas title. He also won the Astec Open title late last year.

Gregoria Mariska is on track for another Sirnas title, this time in GS U15. Fitriani, the serial Sirnas winners in GS U15 last year is now promoted to Remaja (U17) and lost in her second match.

This year, GS U19 will see the continuing battle between Berliyan Sudrajat, Setyana Mapasa, and Elizabeth Matindas. All these players are serial winners of Sirnas in GS U17 in the past 2 years. Berliyan will face Setyana for the title today. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Matindas lost in her second match also.

Don't forget Ruselly Hartawan, last year she was Finalist in one Sirnas GS U-19.
Berliyan & Ruselly are U-17 players who promoted into U-19 this year.

TV commentator doesn't folLow enough Badminton Indonesia. In answer why Jaya Raya's pair won, he doesn't know that XD U-19 PB. Djarum is new pair combination while PB. Jaya Raya pair have together since U-17. Della Augustya just moved from PB. Tangkas last year and she usually played GS.

I will not blame the TV commentator as they probably do know even know the junior players in the various clubs. Only die-hard followers like us will know the insights.

    Rian Swastedian/Masita Mahmuddin
dominated the XD U17 last year...winning 5 Sirnas titles! Another 3 titles were won by Aldo Abdillah/Desaula Gendy (the top-seed this week and they lost in QF).

Quite a number of movements to Djarum involving Tangkas players last year. Tedi Supriadi also moved.

With 19 titles up for grabs today, these are the tentative breakdown of titles:
Mutiara - GS U15, GS U17 (what a domination by Mutiara in GS!)
    Jaya Raya - MS
    Tangkas - GS U19
    Djarum - BS U15
Citra Raya Unesa - XD U17

I think it is the second Sirnas title for Adi Pratama. His first title in MS was Sirnas Bali 2009...

    Tedi Supriadi from Tangkas ???
If i am not mistaken, Kevin Ersa from Tangkas won a title with Tedi. Having watch their game, Kevin is good. I though he will move to Djarum too. Where is he now ?? still in Tangkas ??

Anyone know the original club of Ririn Melati before moving to Djarum ??

I think Tangkas focus on single development right now. They have many decent to very good class players in singles, but quite bad in double department.

Jaya Raya looks to have focused on doubles dept recently. quite bad in singles, but they still produce Ruselly Hartawan and Lya Ersalita which is good.

Mutiara have a number of good juniors since they have audition and scholarship,

Tedi Supriadi is partnered with Yantoni Edy Saputra in Djarum and they won the Pertamina Open title (BD U17) late last year.

    Tedi/Yantony
lost to the fourth-seed Rizko Azuro/Wildan Atmaja of Jaya Raya this week (who themselves won 2 Sirnas titles in U17 last year) in 3-sets: 21-17, 19-21, 15-21.

As I wrote earlier, if the few elite U19 pairs from PB Djarum & Jaya Raya have been promoted to Dewasa, then, the Taruna will be dominated by these U17 pairs:
Jaya Raya - R. Eka Fajar Kusuma/Rian Swastedian, Rizko Azuro/Wildan Atmaja

    Djarum
    - Jeka Wiratama/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho, Hantoro/Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra, Tedi Supriadi/Yantoni Edy Saputra.

Shinta Arum looks very good this week.
She win her 1st Sirnas title (cmiiw) by defeating Linda Mutiara Pertiwi in 2 easy sets 21-15 21-7.
She also defeated the rising Devi Yunita in 2 easy sets.

Rian Swastedian/Masita Mahmudin beat the Djarum pair in two tight-sets 23-21, 23-21. I saw that the Djarum pair was leading 17-14 in the first-set.

Febby Angguni lifts her first Sirnas title of the year, beating Ganis Nurrahmandani 21-12, 22-20. I still think it's a real pity players like Febby and Ana Rovita fail to make it big in the international scene :( Ana also seems to be still plagued with injury problems? Djarum's GD Pemula (U15) pair of Thalia Clara Rossa Lomban (is she related to Deyana Lomban??)/Yefi Anggraini also adds another title for their club.

Meanwhile, ex National players Nova Widianto/Lita Nurlita lost to Jaya Raya Suryanaga's new pairing of Tri Kusuma Wardhana/Variella Aprilsasi. Jaya Raya Suryanaga also wins a rare title in BD Pemula (U15) in Abrian Chandrikat/Nanda Aditya Arya Tetuko.

Mutiara Bandung continues their dominance in the Singles as another one of their protegee M. Shulton Alhakim wins the title in Remaja (U17). He won the Astec Open title last year.

I wrote last year that Mutiara Bandung is really doing a solid job in grooming their Singles players. And indeed, results after results have shown that this is the case! 3 titles in Singles so far for Mutiara!

Pusdiklat Jaya Raya sweeps the BD titles as their U17 pair (with a player from Aufa) Cinton Hendrik/Tegar Mi'Radinata and their U19 top-seeded pair R. Eka Fajar Kusuma/Rian Swastedian beat their opponents. Fajar/Rian edged out arch-rival Jeka Wiratama/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho in an expected 3-sets thriller: 21-15, 20-22, 17-21.

PB Djarum also suffered another defeat in MD as their evergreen pair Rian Sukmawan/Rendra Wijaya lost dramatically 22-20, 21-8, 20-22 to the oldies Nova Widianto/Trikus Haryanto.

SGS PLN nabs a title in WD as the top-seed Devi Tika Permatasari/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia fulfill their top-seeding, beating Jaya Raya's young pair of Aris Budiharti/Dian Fitriani.

Meanwhile, Berliyan Sudrajat made up for her defeat in GS by winning the GD U17 title with Meirisa Cindy Sahputri. The GD U19 title was won by Mutiara's Hanna Ramadini/Mareta Dea Geovani.
