mr chan responds very fast, sometimes even on sunday. TC700 is not similar to AT500 in my experience. it's unlike any racquet I have tried b4.
Payment through PayPal, the actual amount payable based on today exchange rate is about S$176 (without string) & S$184 (with string strung). This is for 1 racket shipping to Singapore.
Unstrung racket @ S$168 for 2 rackets order. Saving due to sharing of shipping cost. Let me know if u interested by this week....
hallo my bro, i am newbie on TC700 1)may i know which gen of TC700 is the best? why? 2)was it stiffer and slimer and head lighter than NS9900? 3)suitable for double player ? 4)what string best fit for TC700 in general public? BG66? i hope to be TC700 someday...
You totally baffle me. Haven't you gotten a racket yet? The love for the TC700 is bipolar. Sir Dink, for example, isn't quite a fan. OTOH, there are a bunch of us who are fanatics. The only way to know is to try it out for yourself (sounds like an old tune now). There are a bunch of them in the marketplace so you can test them out for yourself at minimum loss.
1st gen is really hard to find now. according to twobeer, the 2nd gen has a better feel. The tc700 probably isn't as stiff as the ns9900, but has a unique kick-point which may be hard to get used to. More suited for singles, IMO. Use any string you like.. I like it with bg65.
bro, may i know wat u mean kick point? feature like gosen ? or feature which allow flex at some point at T joint? was it heavier head to ns9900? its suitable for singles bcoz heavy head therefore slower in defend thus not for doubles players?
I finally had the chance to test out the TC 700 2U G5 last night. The string is BG 68 Ti @ 30 X 33. The racket is rock solid and absolutely powerful!!! In fact, it is much easier to use than the RSL X2 Gold. Me and many others wish Mizuno would produce this great racket again.
You've come in late, way late to sample and taste sweet TC700 but never too late (for anyone for that matter). Of course it is better than the X2 (even X5; if you've tested one, yet!). As for out of production issues...well, you should've known that there's still plenty of stocks available if you bother to scrounge around,.
But not in 2U (he's had it for quite a while already iirc and one of the last 2U's which' swingweight according to AT700 doesn't really differ from the 3U's)
I'm glad to see there are still a lot of fans supporting TC700. Mine was broken my stringer was trying to string it at 27x29 BG65
Sad. The tc700 are quite tough and I dun see how stringing to 29lbs would destroy it. Mine was previously strung at 28lbs and routinely suffer a few knocks per game. They are all still going strong. Were there any cracks on your racket before the stringing?
I doubt that. It was never clashed before. One fine day I took out my TC700, the string was already snapped. It was in my bag at least 4 days before I realized that. I cut the string immediately. Nevertheless, I suspect the old string had caused damage to the frame before I knew it.
