USD 5250 in India is around Rs. 30Lac... Yu can have a good 2BHK flat in any decent apartment measuring 1100 sq. feet for that sum... Middle class Indian used to take his whole 30 years of wrking life to save that much amount.... still definitely thats not too much for Saina now(may be hearing of her endorsement deals, but you never know how much has she actually recieved of that since its just an announcement a few months back)... Additionaly and the real reason I believe is How often can you get to play the top players in a practice match :)

this is what i meant by taking it easy.. she must have adjusted her game so not to injure her knee and therefore not comfortable with the current game.. I'm not saying she doesnt have USD5250 to pay but by coming here also meant that she is promoting the sports like she always used to? maybe didnt want to dissapoint her fans that paid the ticket to watch her play? she doesnt seem to mind losing here, guess her intention for coming here were never about winning?

Yes it hurts every time she loose.... lets see, i think still she can qualify for Semis if she beat JS convincingly....but considering her knee condition i thing this is too much to ask for :(

Ah well, at least we can now say Saina isn't the best player in the world. Two loses, obviously her injury isn't that bad otherwise she would have withdrawn by now. Jus sounds like excuses to me, if you're injured and can't play to your potential, then withdraw! Don't be stubborn! Even LCW has withdrawn...

Wise less ideas? Have you seen Yihan's knee support? It's clear she has an injury. Saina lost to 2 non China players already this tournament, and bound to lose again tomorrow. Not looking good at all for the "best player"

She is one of the best badminton women's singles player in the world :). Those people who are jealous of her achievements who try to conceal her achievements with their bare hand will definitely get a blow :D.. All the hypocrites who talk some silly comments against her and her personality just to disgrace her and for their own self happiness will not be able to conceal her fame and her skills which is one of the best in the world :):D..

Ha ha.. Have you seen how saina thrashed wang yihan in Denmark Open. Without tolerating her attack, wang just escaped the court.. She did not get injury at all.. Clearly seen by the whole world except you i think.. Ha ha :)

Yihan retired injured, if Saina was injured she'd do the same. Obviously she doesn't feel it's much of a problem if she's able to carry on, or is it cause she's too stubborn to admit she has a problem...

Anyway, Thailand have 3 youngsters, Chinese Taipei have TTY, China of course have Sun Yu, Deng Xuan and many more, and not forgetting PV Sindhu and Europes and Korean talents and also Mitani & Nozomi. Only a matter of time.

Mitani, li Xuerui, SungJiHyun all are of saina's age group. Only TTY, Nozomi, sun yu, P.V.Sindhu are youngsters still juniors..:) Sun Yu is leaving the junior circuit and entering senior circuit from next year..

+ the three Thai players and Nozomi are all still in juniors.

Mitani, Li and Sung all are better players. They might not have proven it through titles earned, but their potential for the future is higher. Even Sindhu's potential is higher. Saina is peeking now (despite her age)

Ha ha.. Still you are ignorant :).. Saina won 15 titles :).. Big and small. She is just 22. She has 8 more years to play. Nozomi and Sung ??? How many titles they won for their country.. They seem to be from the country which has already proven its ability in badminton. But in India, saina is the history maker :):D. Nobody can just simply wipe her achievement for their own satisfaction :D. May be they can dream big while they sleep to wipe her out of the arena :). But could not be possible in the real world :). That is true... I am damn sure about it :)..

Jeez, it's so easy to wind you up isn't it? :p

Nozomi is 17/18, you can't expect her to have won much...

And you forget Saina lost to Wang Lin recently, someone who is genuinely injured

Sure, but still Wang Lin returning means another obstacle for troubled Saina.

We should be fair to Wang Lin..she's only lost to Saina in two previous tournaments, one of which was after her major injury.

For her to defeat Saina as she tries to regain her top condition is not a big surprise.
