    It's Fernando, not Fran :D
Well, Fernando/Lingga just claimed their second title in Singapore yesterday.

We should have a stable line of MD back-up pairs after the Olympics:
    First Team pairs
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan (could continue till the next Olympics at least)
Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki (need a GP Gold or SS title)
Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi (need any title badly)
    Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan (likewise)

    Second Team pairs
Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie (what a surprise..2 titles in the space of a few weeks...good for both).
Wifqi Windarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan (a proven pair)
Adi Chrisna Wijaya/Syahmie Syarif (need match experience)

    Djarum pairs
Fran Kurniawan/Rendra Wijaya (getting increasingly matured....good)
    Subakti (and partner??)
Luluk Hadiyanto (and partner???) -- I predict that Luluk/Alvent will be split after the Olympucs

As badMania mentioned, Fernando-Lingga just won their 2nd title in Singapore International Series. So that's two International Series titles in 2 months... ;)

Subakti is still a member of PBSI, all INA players are members of PBSI, Subakti is just not part of PBSI Pelatnas [National Team] anymore... :p Subakti is now partnered with Hendra and actively compete in the INA National Circuits...

Sandy, for your information, the player you have been following Evert Sukamta [Tangkas] defeated Rijanto Subagja [Djarum] yesterday in the DKI Jakarta National Circuit. ;) Rosaria Yusfin Pungkasari [Pipin] will face Linda Weni in today's WS finals. Linda defeated Sylvi in the SF yesterday... I'm going to watch the finals this afternoon... :)

Jakarta Open 2008 looked like "Killing Field" for Pelatnas Pratama players, just one save Linda Weni

Linda Weni beat Rosaria Pungkasari in 2 sets,
Compared last year, Linda has much progress, she has good defence and play little offensive. Last year she played tend to "safe" style.

Rosaria always send high ball in back side of Linda and forced Linda made a lot of shot (not her style). But Rosaria didn't play well, less power and a lot of unforced error.

All of Pelatnas MS were lost before quarter final
    Bagus Indra
    Bandar Sigit
    Nandang Arief
    Adi Pratama
    Senatria
    Engga Setiawan

mosly to veteran players, Budi Santoso, Sartono Eko Pranoto, Ardiansyah, Andi Mawardi, etc

Budi Santoso took 2 titles in MS & XD
He beat Kiki (Sarton EP) in 3 sets
Paired with his "pregnant" wife , Emma Ermawati beat Pelatnas pair Rendi/Komala Dewi in 3 sets too

Indarti Isolina/Lidyawati beat Pelatnas pair Anneke/Wenny
Pelatnas looked good in early like Anissa/Nimas, Komala Dewi & pair but couldn't stopped the veteran

I guess Bambang/Tri Kus won in MD beat Ardiansyah/Andhika
Wifqi/Afiat lost in early round to uknown pair

    U-19

A lot of long 3 sets matches in Single
Ayu Pratiwi (Ragunan) beat Hera (Mutiara)
Ari Trisyanto beat Evert Sukamta, both from Tangkas
Ayu/Geby play in WD final too (against Batam's pair)
Ulinuha/Berry (Djarum)in MD against other Djarum pair
Ulinuha/Jenna Gozali (Djarum) beat Irfan/Wenny from Batam in XD

    U-16
    Succi (Mutiara) beat Elizabeth (SGS)
    Gustano(Tangkas) beat Gaffar (Djarum)
Succi paired with Tiara won WD too

Bad results as always from the Pelatnas MS youngsters. When can we expect some good stuffs from them

I heard that Jenna Gozali looks like a good prospect for the WD.
Wifqi/Afiat losing to an unknown pair :mad:???

Bambang/Trikus just never stop competing eh? They are even entered in Djarum Indonesia SS, together with their XD partners. Unbelievable.

Just wondering why are Wifqi/Afiat and Tantowi/Yulianti not being entered in the Indonesia SS?

Yeah, so surprise that Bambang Suprianto will participate the upcoming INA SS as his age is almost 40 years old.

Oh, come on! They're still young, lack of experience! :)
Besides, they lost to veteran players. Is that bad thing?
Give them some more time and send them into more tournaments. I'm sure they'll improve in no time!:D:p

Oh no. Looks like Malaysia Boleh syndrome is infecting me.:D:D:D

PON will held same time with Asia Junior 2008

My opinion, the Junior players should be prefer to represent INA in Asia Junior rather than represent their province in PON

Maria Febe can replaced by Rosaria Pungkasari represent Central Java
Febby Angguni can replaced by Linda Weni represent West Java
Other players from Ratih & Batam who has good performance in national circuit this year, represent Banten & Riau in PON.

Maria Febe is 19, she can't play in Asia Junior anymore...
Febby better play in Asian Junior, Linda Weni is a better option for West Java...
