At the end of warm-up Sony was stretching his back in a way that made me think he was hurting a bit. Nonetheless he certainly played hard really giving his all at times. But Chen Long was just too good. His retrieving was amazing. Sony couldn't overpower him with smashes, nor outplay him at the net. Even those cleverly deceptive sliced drop shots only fooled CL a couple of times. Sony simply ran out of ideas. No shame in Sony losing to Chen Long today. The Chinese #2 was just unbeatable. Simply outclassed by Chen Long... sigh... those mistakes certainly didn't help much either... And Du Pengyu could beat CL? I really gotta watch that match.
Yup. CL was a great wall that aggressively attacking. Whatever Sony shot given, he returned back and comeback offensively. But Sony did make some costly mistakes as well, while CL almost flawlessly.

Du PengYu is by far the most hardworking player on court... never seen anyone with that much determination to retrieve every single shot... he doesn't know the meaning of giving up. He gave Lee Chong Wei a scare in their last meeting. Now let's see if SDK can get past DPY...
i think iskandar zulkarnain's game is almost similar to sony's game when he's younger... aggressive, fast and powerful... i think this style somehow fading away from sony's game due to his back injury... hopefully iskandar can avoid back injury like sony... we can see if sony can play at his best, he's a wonderful player to watch..
