@ J4ckie: ZS is a piece of noodle stiff compared to any other racket! . Don't know why Yonex even labels it as stiff ...
Dont have the BS10 but compared to MX70, just a tad less stiff. But there's something special about the frame that gives it a very nice crisp feel.
As long as the PPro is not x-stiff like the MX80...I think I'll be fine. I'm gonna wait for the Revelation reviews before committing to one Panda racket to buy. I'm gonna go with the VT-ZF and N90 (future buy) as my singles racket. And the MX-JJS (ordered and hopefully I gel with it) and a Panda racket for doubles. I have the N90II as well. I use it as a singles racket (when I'm tired) or doubles racket (when playing with feathers...but I lack the oomph in my smashes with it). My X-Feel Blast is used for plastics. Working on my collection...to keep up with you guys .
I know. But other 'stiff' Yonex rackets are also softer than other brands' stiff models. I guess PP 'stiff' is the equivalent of Yonex 'very stiff'....with Victor somewhere in-between (BS10 is stiffer than pretty much all stiff YY I tried, but not quite as stiff as the UPro/TPro, may they R.I.P.)
Hi Guys,I'm from Australia, I'd like to get Panda Precision too. Beside Yen Chan (pandapoweraus@gmail.com), can I order from other countries as Yen doesn't even reply emails.Thank you.
I play at MSAC friday nights. If you want to test drive PPro, let me know - I have 2 (different balance points). If you're set to buying - I cant help except referring you to Mr Panda himself
Update on the Revelation: Received 12 "final-final" (10 now, two were sold) prototype Revelations on Monday. Testing today, tomorrow and especially on Friday and Saturday... ...after 2+ years of trial and error, this Panda thinks he's finally got it right this time. At least as right as can be. So the final stats: Panda Power Revelation Stiffness: 7.8-8.2 Frame: 100% woven graphite Shaft: 100% woven graphite Tension: up to 34lbs. Retail Price: $180.00 USD for the racket only Internet Price: $160.00 USD for the racket only Promotional Price in the US: $160.00 shipped and strung with Ashaway ZyMax. Question to All: if you were to buy, what would be the desired weight and BP? Panda needs to know so he knows what specs to order.
^^ Great news! So is the frame design similar to P Pro or something else? How's the shaft stiffness compared to P Pro? Is this meant for singles or doubles?
No comment on singles or doubles. That's your personal preference mostly on the weight and BP. It's the Precision Pro frame shape but with 100% woven graphite frame and shaft. It's more solid, more powerful and has a bigger sweetspot than the Precision. Also is stronger. The shaft will be made a bit less stiff, Panda has found it's easier to generate more power.
P Pro was rated with a shaft stiffness of 7.5 - 8.0. Someone already answered that question that you asked a few months ago Pay attention in class! http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...-40lbs.-String-Tension!?p=1910480#post1910480 Which means it'd be similar if slightly softer in flex than the PPro. (rated at 7.5 to 8.0) 8.2 plays dead in the middle between a S and a XS on the SOTX scale.
