Any groups in district 5-10-11 ?

 

If you guys can't find a group just bring your racquet to any badminton courses and ask for playing. Vietnamese are friendly so I think they will let you play together if they have a slot for you and you're same or above level as them.

 

Language might be the barrier if you don't know Vietnamese. That's why people come here to ask for a place to join

I have a group, mostly play MD and XD, in Tan Phu district, 2-4-6, 6PM-8PM. Sunday, 9AM-12PM. Most members can speak English comfortably. PM me if you are interested.

I have been living in VN and playing badminton for years already (currently playing in Marie Currie Court on weekdays), and i was wondering if it was possible for foreigners to compete in VN?

Also, would anyone be able to recommend a place to play with people being at competition level / competing regularly?

I personally do not know. Maybe try vnbadminton.com forum if you can read Vietnamese. Or have a friend give it a look.

I'm far from the professional standard but I used to play for my Primary, Secondary and Tertiary school. Which means I've been playing for over 15years (27 now). I still play weekly in Singapore too.

Not sure if the Marie Curry Hall is still playing and when. I'm intermediate player and would like to join any friendly club.

The French school is still going. There are a few badminton Facebook groups for the city as well. New courts on huyen Tran Cong Chua behind Ben Thanh market area. Tran nao in D2 has some courts as well.

Which is the closest and strongest club do you recommend?

Also which do you play at is it close by?

 

I play all the way across the city from you. Past D7. Check out Facebook groups. Quite a few that play regularly. If you are daring enough, just go ask a group to play.
