I was thinking if it is possible LYB would wish LD and CL to be WR 1 and 2 and CJ WR4 so that China will have a commanding presence at LOG 2012 and their players will have a more favorable draw. Haha

    Remember in just this SSF tournament alone, LD is able to reduce his deficit from 10,500 points to 3,500 ( assuming AlanY's calculation is correct). If LD were to play in as many tournaments as LCW, who will likely win more times? If LD and LCW were to meet in as many tournaments henceforth, who will likely win more times judging by their present form? How long can LD's 3,500 point deficit last? Not very long unless LCW can beat LD more times.

    ok, lets me have a go of the numbers.
    assuming LCW and LD share the 1st and 2nd for the forecoming MO and KO, LCW got MO and LD got KO, quite likely i think if we forget CL for now.

    the points looks like this;

1
    MAS
    Lee Chong Wei
    91147

2
    CHN
    Lin Dan
    90516

lets assume they share the next 2 t'ments as well, again forget about CL (he is going to love me for this);
    LCW win the AE and LD get the Ind Open;

    the final table will be;

1
    CHN
    Lin Dan
    96226
    15

2
    MAS
    Lee Chong Wei
    94547
    14

i let you guys to work out the odds and how many satay or whatever to play for.

    Now Alan, don't scare limsy and perhaps Chris as well. And dont hide CL who can do a lot of damage to LCW as well as in this SSF.

    BTW Alan are you staying in London?

    i dont think LD is after the no 1 any more since after 2008. so he probably will not play that many t'ments from now on.
    same as LCW, if he and his coaching team have some sense should let him have a good rest and prepare for London. So, i dont think he will play all those t'ments either.
    if those 2 are not care any more, guess what? Chen Long may slip in!

    Why May 1st? Is that the official deadline for WR cut-off for LOG?

    Will Sudirman Cup 2013 be played in KL ?
    By that time will you be working n earning money or you want to see more of Tai by studying in TPE?

    I think limsy knows where he stands regarding his badminton...maybe in between LCW and ZZ if he gets good tips from ...

    Anyway Congrats to limsy for having found a job. I hope he enjoys it and saves some of his income to buy us Satay the next time we visit KL.
