You got to think like a Nemesis Anthony ... they only post frontal photos of you and some of the other Titans guys so that Badminton Organisers and hired assassins know to target you :)

... So has your wife given you permission to go watch the Yonex Australian Open yet? ... got there after work today .. and to my surprise even the Yonex Australian Open is now infected with Nemesis .. every 2nd line person was a Nemesis

The good news, Karyn Velez is still in the tournament :D ... but Ann is still refusing to introduce me and Mike to her ... she even lied to us and said she didnt know her... caught her out when we saw Karyn walk up and chatted and high fiving her

Anyway Australia didnt do any good as usual, the only time Australia won was when it was AUS Vs AUS  ... and once again Cha Chi is the only hope we have, she won against the 2nd seed .. KLRC Anita .. in the last game of the night.

.... And redneck Robinson you would have been horrified by the supporters .. they were all cheering every point even when it was off a player's mistake :p ... and in contrary to you're "rude ethnics" beliefs .. some of the most vocal clappers of players mistakes wont the Asian type Hongkeys .. but the American style "Hongkeys" :)

.. Vuvuzela still hasnt arrived yet .. might have to go to plan B if it doesnt arrived by Saturday :(

Hey man, just saw this when I was googling myself:D, our names are in the Ballarat Results of the Badminton Victoria newsletter!! :cool:http://hosting3.sportingpulse.com/www.badmintonvic.com.au/uploads/media/3.3_April_2010.pdf

By the way, who or what is an Amercian Honky?

I know what you mean, when we were watching at the Quarters on Friday, those Koreans were clapping when the Indonesian opposition guy was hitting it into the net - unbelievable!:mad:

Are you sure Monash is in late Sept? I am getting into hard training now, ran 5km in the pouring rain, burned around the lake today, whilst you and Michael no doubt were training ur tummies watching the pros:)

I got more then 1 mention, thanks to their spelling mistake of Veevien's name as Vee Vien :)

... If people dont read it carefully they'll think i won the mens B double and the ladies Open double .. that'll cause more outrage then our D & B winning at Victoria Graded

Anyway you didnt missed much in the Grand Prix, beside that first game of the day the ladies single between Korea and Japan ... all the other games were one sided .. and since no Australian team made it to any finals it was pretty tame in terms of the cheering .... and as expected Korea cleaned up.... results are ..

    Ladies single ... Korea
    Ladies double ... Korea
    Mix Double ... Korea
    Men Single ... Vietnam
    Mens Double ... Japan

    Wooden spoons ... Australia

I've been so busy I haven't had time to post anything. Missed every session of the Grand Prix as well.

At least we had a special visitor on Saturday. Former world number 6, Lee Tsuen Seng of Malaysia joined us last Saturday night.

I have to say he is a very humble and nice guy and extremely talented.

    RMIT Tournament 2010

After almost 7 years break, the RMIT badminton club is finally hosting another Tournament :) ... and it looks like Jackies broken tied with the Melbourne Uni badminton club .. cant blame him ... MUBC is overrun with the Nemesis virus .. rumour has it they drove off MUBC last club President in a bloody coup to install their own pupped leader

and Anthony it looks like they've added a entry condition targeted at us :p ....

    4. Players who have achieved semi or final in the previous tournament(s) may be allocated to next Grade up.

All well we'll have to play by the rules, since we won D grade in the Victorian Graded we'll have to play up a grade ... C Grade :D

    Hooray!! RMIT tournament is back, last time I played that tournament it was held in Altona and I was playing Frankie Tran in the singles! {2004}

Yes if you notice carefully, in section 4 it has the word "may", I class that word the same as "meh", so let's just see...

I'm pretty sure we're doing trophies for winners, medals for runnerups for the Graded events. Trophies for winners and runnerups in the Open events.

Couldnt make it yesterday was playing in a 10pin bowling tournament at that new AMF in Clayton ... had the vuvuzela with me, was planning on just quick stopping by Titans after bowling ~9pm-ish to blowing out a few tunes before running off :) ... but got vito

Hey I was at the badminton shop in Richmond everyone keeps talking about .. and it turns out to be another Sport Stadium .. Xin was actually working in it at the time .. anyway got myself a nice flashy looking Kawasaki racket a very good price .. wonder if anyone's ever tryed a Kawasaaki racket before?

    bad shuttles

Hey guys, the shuttles have been very poor lately:(

On Wednesday it was like playing in slow motion and very hard to kill the shuttle and Saturdays lately have been the same.

One of the guys said the black Aeroplane shuttles, speed 51 are flying very well on Thursday nights there, so could we try these? Also maybe try the RSL ones that Kobeng sells?

If cost is an issue, I am sure we are all happy to pay $11 or later on $12 to cover the cost of better shuttles, coz it sought of ruin the game playing with wrong speed and bad quality shuttles...

I think we are moving to the Aeroplane shuttles after this batch runs out. We were trialling the Victor shuttles but they are not as good as the Prince or Aeroplane ones. I believe on both Saturday and Wednesday night there were at least two of the following brands to choose from : Aeroplane, Victor and Prince. Good to get some feedback. Thanks Anthony.

.. What are you choosing me for  ... and i believe the vuvuzela were are better alternative then trumpets to announce my return last saturday :)

.. anyway, only the shuttles use by SS are slower then those Victor shuttle, and Anthony are you really suggesting that you would have a better smash with a faster shuttle .. no shuttle known is fast enought to make that happen :p

Why didnt we just stick with the sealion .. they were the best shuttle we've ever had ...

Vien has got a new secret admirer lala;) Come on Vien make up your mind which side you are batting for:p

Hey my smash way better now I wear the suit, no more tennis elbow, some shoulder niggle still, but that is old age:p

Yes the sea lion were ok, but break a lot! My bet is on aeroplane black 51, and if not, then put it down on the roulette wheel, maybe I make some cash instead:cool:

Great I can sit back and wait for those flower and chocolates to be dropped off at my front door :)

Anyway has Jacky email you back about the RMIT tournament this Saturday? .. what grade are we in and did he find a mix partner for use both ? .. and also found another 2006 RMIT medallion ... looks like I won the B mix, and the A/B combine double that year:) .... and with my current singles form, unbeaten in Altona * grade and CBA * grade in the last 3 or 4 weeks into this season so far, I recon i should be able to claim the C or D grade singles :D .... We should have a side bet, which ever one of us collects more Nemesis scalp this tournament wins a free dinner afterward .. you in :)
