Do you really not trust him at all? LOL. The serial numbers indicate it's a genuine article, although if you really want to make sure just remove the whole of the original grip and you should see a bar code sticker and a screw near the top of the wooden handle if it is genuine.
The problem is't trust him or not! I afraid he don't know about badminton'racket.! So, please tell me how to identify a genuine racket? Thanks alot!
It look very good, I am 99 % the racket is genuine just by those code...you should trust your friend more next time (especially your doubles partner)
because the date of manufacture is within the time fame of when the NS9900 has been released to now so the codes are correct however if you want to guarantee that your NS9900 is authentic send me some pictures @ scarface12334@hotmail.com
Hm..., may I disagree with you guys and share my opinion? For the serial no 8240492 this racket should have been produced around 28 or 29 January 2009 while the date cone code of 230192JP shows that it was produced on 23 January 2009. It's just my personal view/opinion. Don't attack me! For proper checking please post it in appropriate thread.
If you do a search of the forum for the cone code 290192JP you'll find the following which has a serial number of 8242888. That does not mean that 8240492 is not correct but you can check it by emailing Yonex and asking them. I have checked in the information of your Yonex NANO SPEED 9900 shaft Serial:8242888; Cone Code:290192JP (date=29 Jan 2009) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its shaft serial and cone code are legitimate. However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
