hi oldhand. Have u ever tried the yonex isometric SP 900 SX or the Ti SP SX before years ago? Just curious to know how's that compared to the U1
U1 is much more balanced than the SP 900 SX or Ti SP SX. And there is a night and day difference in stiffness. The U1 comes very close to RSL X2 Gold's stiffness, if not stiffer.
Id say the U1 is surely stiffer than the X2 gold. Ironically I dont like super stiff rackets, yet I have both of these. I have been using the chao pai nano power 728 for about 2-3 years now and recently switched to the trinity one, and probably going to use the trinity 2 on a regular basis. My feelings about the Trinity 2 design.... Current racket is Yonex Ti Swing Power, SS model with a bp of 295mm with bg65 string and Yonex supergrap. I guess this means it's moderately balanced to the head, right?What bp should I order the Trinity 2 with, so that it would be exactly the same as my current racket? (assuming 3.5g string, 7g overgrip).Thanks much!
Not sure what more exciting the number of sleeps til Santa comes or til the new T2 come. Ok will be more excited about the T2, does that mean I may have a problem.

Hmmm... how do I go about weighing it with such a sensitive scale? Well, from your extensive experience, how much do you think the Swing Power would weigh, in naked form or playing form? (taking into account that the strings weight approx 3.5g and overgrip 7g)
You can weigh the racket on a jewelry scale or similar that's accurate to ideally the 0.1g. You should know Panda does not like to estimate. But if Panda had to estimate, need more info: 1) Please confirm your racket in play weight is BP295. This includes string and an additional overgrip over the original grip) 2) What is the weight and grip size? 3UG4?
I should say I don't need it to be exactly the same as the Swing Power that I have, just similar or slightly less head heavy is good enough. 1)Yes, exactly BP295 in play weight, string and overgrip. 2)G4 on the handle, but weirdly, it doesn't have a U rating(?). The rackets of the past had a tendency to be heavier. So best guess (not that's it's a good one) would be an 87-88g T2 with a BP of 295 (about the highest that will be available). It would swing a bit lighter. Ideally, a BP of 300 would most closely match your current racket set-up which is moderate+ head heavy.
No you wouldn't, as there are hundreds that have already purchased before you. The U3 may have similar specs to the N90. In the testing phase...

Will the T2 use the "new Grommet system" like the ones in Yonex rackets? (or single pass grommets or something like that) and slim shaft and smaller cap?
All the modifications are stated in past posts. Will update the website soon to answer all the questions. But to answer yours, no, it's the old string pattern, normal shaft and normal cap.
