i'm actually a little surprised nobody has mentioned her on the boards yet. from what i've seen she's a great young talent. her partner and her got to the quarter finals at AE2009 in the womens doubles, and she has faired decently well at some other big tournaments as well. at the world juniors she did really well in both XD and WD and i really see her becoming a great doubles player for england. Did i mention she's ONLY 18?!?!?!?! i think we should keep an eye on her progress..... she's the one using the yonex racket
^^Both of them..^^ ..Gabrielle and Jenny Wallwork (on the right) will be UK's WD project for the 2012 Olympics..Our esteemed UK-based BCer/Mod, jamesd20, should be able to chime in a bit more on Gabrielle..
Less of the esteemed. More like ran out of steam..... GW has a lot of potential, time will tell. UK has always had some talented young players that never make the switch. In the AE she was quite good in the XD. I didn't see the win over DEN WD pair, but the less said about the Game against Du/Yu the better! Her serve was her biggest weakness in AE - Think she might have been nervous?
it seem that photo had energized u better and faster than the phiten necklace or even the TR ring/bracelet
yes, if u are a man what do u think? i think u better get prepared with your fitness now or else rudy will smash your head later
are you sure? do u mean including du jing/yu yang too i'm just saying those to all those 'HOT' looking badminton players and that suit my taste come on james
Errr....I tot george@chongwei is GAY ???!!!! Coz username says it all...???!! george@chongwei = GEORGE "loves" CHONGWEI .....??!!! Joking only, no heart feeling...hahahaaa
On the other hand, I personally think JW is "hotter" than GW. Saw her in Euro Final this year...hot stuff...!!!
I believe Gail said it herself: "Gabby has got more skill than I ever had but she's got to realise how much effort it takes to step up." From: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/olympic_games/7922133.stm
Yes, but note she also said "Asian players tend to peak at around 18, while European players sometimes don't peak as last as 24 or so" http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympic_games/7922108.stm
