China vs Korea - 0:2. MD in progress, and as it's Lee Yong Dae and Ko Sung Hyun - it will be 0:3. Congrats to Korea, although putting LYD both in XD and MD is quite unfair to the rest of the crowd, since it basically secures 2:0 handicap in every round.
With the Korean line-up it was secure to win the team event. It doesn´t matter whether they fiel Lyd, ksh or kkj. All three are above the rest of particpants I believe

0 Gold Medal for CHN, despite having a relatively decent team (including Olympic Gold Medallist Tian Qing) in the Universiade. The KOR Squad hit incredible achievements, seizing a total of 5 gold medals! The South Korean squad hit a great success in the Kazan Universiade, they nearly did a clean sweep there, only missed their representation in MS, took the rest of the gold medals (total of 5 golds incl. the team event), possibly their best achievement ever so far in any single tournament! The outcome proves their decision to send a strong team there does really pay off. Congratz to KOR squad for the fabulous achievements Meanwhile the Chinese squad showed a poor result there, grabbed only for 4 silver medals, with the closest chance for gold in WD, lost in the decider by a narrow 2-point margin. Even THA got a better result, having their gold medal in MS.
Chinese WD was leading 20:17 in G3 but then was called several service fault including deuce points, even the last point appeared to be out but was called in. Undrstood they filed official complaint on the umpire to the authority. Anyone have the video and could advise what happened actually?
Yes, fate-changing faulty matter Yes, i saw that too at CCTV's brief sport news 1 or 2 days ago. Tian Qing's services were faulted a couple of times, so frustrated, she threw her racket. At one incident, both of CHN coaches also entered the court to do complaint to the umpire. It's a rather messy scene indeed. All I can say is thanks God that this fate-changing faulty matter just happened in the Universiade...not in an Olympics/WC/AG or other crucial team events
I don't think they have anything to complain about regarding the serve fault on 20-17 and the last call. She went for a flick serve and tossed upwards the shuttle before hitting it and the last shot must have caught the line at least, never appeared out to me during the actual rally, looked well in even, but closer to the outside of the line on the replay (everything always appears "out" when she is playing anyway ). No fault called on "deuce" during this period, deuce on their serve would be on 21-21 only, nor any other service faults called till the end of the match. Korean girl received a yellow card at 21-21, perhaps for delaying tactics ...
You're in luck, match here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3hf0h8Ki34 "warning for misconduct" Unfortunately the frame-by-frame doesn't capture the exact moment of contact ...
Yes indeed.. No fault during deuce.. i mean when the both the teams were 21 all. And infact, korean player got yellow card for delaying.. That's all. And the last point was never out.. It must have touched the line ... There is no point in complaining against Umpire.. Ridiculous... Lol
Yeah, the star-studded KOR squad scored best outcome here and will boost their confidence to upcoming WC For AG next year in Incheon, no doubt KOR is main contender beside bdm giant CHN. All medalists : http://kazan2013.ru/hide/en/-240/Root/ViewPdf/BD0000000_C93_7.0.pdf
