My wrist doesn't do that, but someother part somentings will be making nosie. This is not good .maybe have someting about Ossein proliferation you can go to hospital
This used to happen to me ... I think when I was diagnosed with a tennis elbow. But after my PT sessions, it stopped. If it's painful, then you should definitely see a doctor. If it's not, just rest for a week. It could probably that your joints are just too stressed. But if symptoms still persist, go see a physiatrist.
Unless you're a qualified professional, I'd hesitate to make that kind of analysis and dispense such information. Well, maybe you are...
Both of my wrists do this. It's a more prominent sound for my racket arm, though, but it's done that before I started playing badminton. Yea, it just sounds like the "cracking" of bones.
Yes my wrist, R. shoulder, ankles, knee, and both hips. Its when the clicking stops that I get a problem.
Crackling, grinding, or popping noises in the joints are known as crepitus. Crepitus occurs in healthy joints: the sound is caused by small air bubbles in the sinovial fluid. So most of the time, crepitus is nothing to worry about. But when crepitus is accompanied by other symptoms, such as pain or swelling, it may indicate joint damage. If you have any pain or deformity around your wrist, then the crepitus may be a sign of damage. In any case, if the joint noises worry you, why not see a doctor?
yeah, it was a common belief before that cracking your knuckles leads to arthritis in old age, but medical research has concluded that that's a myth. it relaxes me to do it, so i'm with the medics on this!
Haha, this happened to me before I started playing badminton. Both my wrists do this. I can make it make the noise at will, and it doesn't cause any pain at all. Doesn't sound like air bubbles..because... after a certain amount of time, the air bubbles must be gone, right? =O But I can do it endlessly, and painlessly... Strange =O
not really my wrist, but my shoulder cracks up occasionally when i go for a beasty smash with total arm+wrist+shoulder. but i rarely go for such smash. mostly i do a simple jump smash with not much stress on shoulders.
I have cracking sound from knees and ankles... Pain from the knees too.. I guess badminton is almost over for me! :crying: (Now having those gluxxxxxxmin pills 3x a day!)
