In the other match, Hafiz/Alfian take the first-set 21-17 against the THA pair who beat Ronald/Selvanus earlier in the team event.

yes.... Edi/Arya won some Sirnas. beating Ronald/Selvanus in the final/SF.
They are the best U-19 along with Lukhi/Kevin and Hafiz/Putra after Praveen/Rangga move to open category.

Even though the selection is influenced by nepotism, I dont understand why Putra Eka Rhoma is not included in team. He and Hafiz have good ranking in MD, he together with Aris also one of the top pair in XD.. I saw him playing in SG, quite prospect but still cant tell how far he could go. but he is 94 batch, together with Hafiz..

so, next year line up probably, i hope Kevin can find good partner, Edi/Arya, Putra/Hafiz..

Carolina Marin has booked her ticket to R4 with a 21-14, 21-17 win over TPE player Yu.

    She faces INA player Yulia.

Looks like a bit of a break after the remaining 2:50pm matches are done.

INA pair Hafiz/Alfian have shown the #5/8 THA pair the door with a straight games win

I am still quite happy with the INA camp result so far. Yesterday only Hana lost to Noz. Today, Lukhi/Ririn lost very close to KOR pair, bad drawing. Ririn/Gloria also lost to KOR pair very tight score. and Rusydina forced rubber with Yigit (she beat Hana during group match too)..

in junior competition, the seeding does not really reflect the strength of a pair/player. Wisnu and Vito are probably better than Arief Gifar and Riyanto (both seed 9/16), but they are not seeded.. and yes, Lukhi/Ririn is unstable and seldom win Sirnas..

I really look forward these Ina WJC batch and hope to see some of them take part in Olympic 2016 and 2020

XD: Not a good start in the rubber by the Canadians, down 2-6

Hafiz Faisal/Alfian Eko Prasetya also progress to R16 after beating the seeded THA pair 21-17, 21-16. They will face a home pair in Tien Tzu-Chieh/Wang Chih-Hao for a place in the last 8.

Overall, 14 out of 17 INA representatives are through to R16; with 3 casualties: Lukhi/Ririn, Ririn/Gloria, and Rusydina. Not too bad after all.

    Tougher matches lie ahead tonight.

this pair beat Ronald/Selvanus in rubber on QF Team match right? They lost rather easily today. It just shows our players have non technical issues when facing pressures.. The Individual results so far are more encouraging than team result.

Another reason is Ampunsuwan tired, he has played too much MD & XD this week.

Canadians have saved 5 match points from 11-20 to 16-20 but their joyride has come to an end. MAS wins 21-16 in G3. Good effort from the CAN pair though.

The greatest obstacle to Suci/Tiara will be KOR pairs, with 3 of them still intact in the draw.

Chae/Kim will face Chow/Lee later tonight, while another one is expected to face a THA pair tomorrow in the QF. The toughest one will undoubtedly be Lee/Shin [3/4] whom Suci/Tiara will probably face in the SF, if everything goes according to plan.
