upsett againnn.. hong/shen beaten by marcus/agripina.. stright set! already 4 MD in 2nd round, yet still 4 will have a match in 1st round. The sad thing, 6th seed Bona/Ahsan lost to MAS pairs. Even the juniors better than them.. soo ironic that MD pair that going to OG lost in the 1st round meanwhile their junior progress to 2nd round,.

Carolina won the 1st set. Yip is a little bit upset by Carolina serve though, seems like that she indicated that it was fault maybe. Carolina has a strong backhand to serve like that I must say! (Beside a strong scream)

Shame on Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan, but good job for the young MD pairs like Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra, Mohd Ulinnuha/Ricky Karanda Suwardi, Andrei Adistia/Christopher Rusdianto, and the youngest pair Ronald Alexander/Selvanus Geh for reaching R16 of the INA SSP, which means 4320 ranking pts to each pair, even more than that obtained from winning an IC event.

    Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizky Amelia Pradipta
also continue to show good progress as a club pair, reaching R16 after an upset victory over Christinna Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl [5]. They are likely to face Tang Jinhua/Xia Huan next.

Out of the 80 matches scheduled today, including 4 that are played now, only 53 matches have been completed. Matches will definitely stretch to over midnight, including the XD match involving the home favorite Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir.

So many suprises today (at least for me)

    From court 1,
    Ko/Eom beat the 2009 World Champion, Juhl/Laybourn[6]
    Hon/Tan beat Ahsan/Bona[6] ==> What the f***??

    from court 2
Wong Wing Ki and Sony Dwi Kuncoro beat their opponnet, Shon and Peter Gade[3], I thought Sony won't make it. :D:D

    From other court,
Ricky Karanda Suwardi/Muhammad Ulinnuha beat the more senior pair Mads Conrad Petersen/Jonas Rasmussen in straight games. I don't believe it at first.
Edi/Arya made a hard time for Chai Biao/Guo Zhengdong, I thought Edi/Arya won't get 10pts in total.. Li Yongbo should be angry with this result..
Melvira Oklamona/Khaeriah Rosmini and Komala Dewi/Jenna Gozali also suprise me after beat higher-ranked pair. Good luck for them tomorrow..

Hu Yun beat the 6-th seed from JPN, Kenichi Tago. My feeling is right. Yesterday I felt that Tago will lost this match, and its true!!!

Ronald Alexander/Selvanus Geh make it to R16. Really a good progress for them, beat their senior in straight games!!
Pia Zebadiah/Rizky Amelia Pradipta beat Juhl/Christina[5], really 'something' for them. What happen to Rytter Juhl?
Agri/Marcus beat Hong Wei/Shen Ye. It really make Li Yongbo angry... good job boys!!!

I thought Shella Devi/Anggia S. Awanda will lost in an easy manner, but they did well to make it rubber

Indeed rosid, the juniors (even though they probably will not progress beyond QF) have done INA proud! Good progress is shown by most of the MD pairs, including the young Djarum pair Edi Subaktiar/Arya Maulana Aldiartama, who really pushed Chai/Guo hard. XD also has Riky Widianto/Richi Puspita Dili and Irfan Fadhilah/Weni Anggraini as able back-up pairs; and the young Pelatnas hopeful like Alfian Eko Prasetya/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja and Lukhi Apri Nugroho/Annisa Saufika.

I don't forget it since I followed that match this afternoon. :D

Btw, I don't think Angga Pratama/Ryan Agung Saputra can beat Koo/Tan again this time, but if they do it again, its no problem for me. :D
