DANG IT... I haven't been able to get a solid session out of my ZForce yet :(

My newly strung BG66M snapped on me... SOOO LAME!!! I guess it's time to get thicker strings.. 0.66mm is no good for me :(

    But I am loving my N90 :)

So far, it's only cosmetically deficient. On the positive side, I still think it's the best racquet I've ever played with in over 30 years. Just remember to have it strung it about one pound less your normal favourite tension, stop moping and start playing and get on with your life..my 2 cents.

I think doing the painting with some kind of polishing spray, if you can find it, is better.

I mean carefully cover the matte area only with tape, apply the spray all over the frame, then take off the tape. So that the polish cover the decals only, the matte finish is not affected by the spray.

    Hmmm....

I wonder how that will affect the BP and overall weight/playability.

I'm surprised at the sticker issue with this racquet. Surely that is something that would have been picked up early in any testing. As far as general paint quality goes, I echo what the poster said about Victor's paint flaking off. My MX-80 is silver at the 12 O'clock position thanks to my idiot partner.

Back to the VT-ZF - I hope the sticker issue is the only issue affecting them. I've had issues with creaking noises coming from around the cone with numerous racquets. My last VT-80 is quite bad for this. It doesn't seem to effect play but if I get the same issue with the VT-ZF my defection to Victor will be complete.

Despite my curt reply, I'm actually sympathetic to you. I just didn't want to give you any false hope about claiming warranty with Yonex. You'll be wasting your time. It sucks having a racquet busted in a clash. If it's clear your partner was at fault you could go after them for replacement. I've lost a couple that way. But, my partner is cute so there's not much I can do in terms of demanding restitution.

I also know how you feel about having to wait. The VT-ZF isn't released here in Taiwan until the end of the month so I have to wait until then before getting to try it out.

Any way to prevent this? Should we tape the area 1st before stringing?

The Z-Slash stickers don't look to bad .....
My VT-80 stickers are a bit wonky but I don't mind as long as I don't chip the paint
