For Uber Cup : WMC was rested, so was Lim Pek Siah. The Juniors were fielded instead, where possible. Thomas Cup : someone mentioned OG qualifying points, MS - WCH & Hafiz need them - dunno how many matches they need to win to get the points. I actually expected WCH to be rested, Hafiz & Arif to play today but <shrug> MD - Zakry/Fairuz I understand, they didnt get to play in one of the earlier matches, it was wrapped up at 3-0, they need OG pts. I expected the oldies CTF/LWW to be fielded today though cos they didnt play yesterday.

Oh? In post tournament intv with Zakry & LWW, they said they need to win at least 2 matches against opponents, but dunno whether it's team win or individual win. Rexy was NOT chief coach for SEA Games 2007, he didnt even go, wasnt involved in the project. Rashid Sidek was chief, WPT was partnered with Hui Lin for some matches, and Khe Wei for individual. But main reason was CEH was injured, so the other 2 juniors in senior team are Hui Lin & Khe Wei. Anyway, that was bf Cheah Soon Kit resigned from BAM, Cheah was still calling the shots in WD then.
oh.i think our wd had improved under rexy.hope they will perform better in next tourney especially AE
the Junior doubles are given more exposure than than the single player. I wonder why is that so.? Goh Lui Ying/Ng HuiLing and Woon Khe Wei are given more exposure. They are playing in the All England and Swiss. Anita and Lydia are not in the european tours. Could it be they are not good enough??? If that the case.. we should not expect too much from them. No wonder Anita and Lydia ranking is so low.
