Hi Anand, I am new to this forum, I am very interested in playing badminton... I have played a lot when was in my college 2yrs back and got used to play in indoor court.... I stay at velachery, i used to play in besant nagar court which you are talking for just Rs10/hour. paying to the watchman....

Hi, I found a place called Transformers gym with 3 indoor courts, near Thiruvanmiyur beach to play badminton. Does anyone here play there? I need to find some regular partners to play in the weekend. The Transformers gym charges 75 bucks per hour, I am not sure if there is any facility of a membership. I am actually from Pallikaranai, near velachery. So any courts near velachery or Sholinganallur or in OMR will be great.
I play at transformers They charge 60 rs. during weekdays and 75 rs. during weekends. They can maintain the 3 courts a lot better than what they do currently. The cement flooring is very slippery so if you are planning to play get some flat shoes. I stay at velachery as well and looking for a nice wooden indoor court. I am planning to play only during weekends though, so its ok if the court is in anna nagar... Can someone refer me a good court ? I have been playing for over 5 years in different courts around chennai (mostly cement indoors) and hoping to find a partner with whom i can practice and play at tournaments....
