    Hi.

I need an all round easy-played racket with some power as I am not the hardest hitter out there :)

I am torn between the two rackets above as I can get them for about the same price.

    What would you experts suggest?

    Thanks, telum.

It's really a no-brainer.. The Forza is a superior racket from material and tech. standpoint. I would suggest to wait a while though, as I have heard Forza is in all sorts of financial problems, so You will probably be able to pick it up real cheap in not to distant future :)

    Thanks!

I suspected this was the case, as Yonex has a reputation of being a bit expensive, however I could not find any information about the Forza racket.

The Forza will cost me about 74 euro and I don't think I have the stumach to wait until Forza is out of business (which actually sucks..).

    Thanks again, really appreciate it!

I just looked a bit around and found the Forza Titanuim 505-N-forze as an alternative.
    It has this Balance: 285mm

Is this a Head Light or Head heavy balance? I don't think I wan't it to be head light...

It is also a bit more expensive..

    I'd consider that head light.

OK I think you are right. I found one place describing it at "head heavy" but multiple places had the balance as (HL) so that makes good sense.

Thanks, this is a really nice forum!

    Hi Telum,

Share your search on Forza racket with us
I am sort of looking for something similar to the Yonex Armortec 900 power
    head heavy, medium stiff

or something that is slightly HH but do not want too stiff or too flexible
    Economical will also help
RSL x5 gold is perhaps too stiff.

Should a single player use Head Heavy?

I am really a novice, but I will return with my experience with the CNT-power 7000.

I cannot say anything about other rackets as I haven't really tried any of them. I don't think you can say that all single-players should use a head-heavy racket, it depends on the player and what he or she feels most comfortable with.

The 505 isn't an all-rounder, an excellent light racquet that needs some technique in order to exploit it well.

The 7000 CNT is a cool racquet.

@Skanbuzz: you should look at the Ashaway RepulsorTec 950, it was originally made as a copy of AT900, they have enhanced it with this latest model with a right price in UK.

BTW, Ashaway and Forza are made by the same manufacture.

Ashaway Viper XT800 but I prefer in this range the RepulsorTec 950, or even much better the Forza Ti 555 S (might be too stiff for you).

An excellent racquet that's still around at a decent price nowadays the Victor TIW 6500, or the new Victor BraceTec 4000.
Probably the coming (when in Europe???) Yonex VT9.

    Just google it.

Using a Ti-550, construction is really strong & sturdy, and you won't get paint chips in light clashes.

Depend on yr preference, if even balance racket is yr easy all round racket, then Forza 7K. If head heavy racket is yr preferred racket, then YY V5.
