Yeah, you need to show us a video of you playing against equal or better players. Another way to increase the length of rallies is to play half court singles.
Here's my latest videos which I have recorded, I wasn't playing my best. Please could I have some tips to help improve my game. Note that: I'm playing in the red attire, on the far side of the court

HAHAHA I forgot sorry ):
You played pretty well in the first video, better than me I'll admit . Just towards the end, your offense got a little lazy (for lack of a better word) because you took the bird late (though not very often) or didn't commit enough effort to footwork. But great game nonetheless.
Game three match two, when you switched sides , and the set has won, why did you serve on the left side instead of the right side? :0
Not bad. Your friend was attacking your backhand corner a lot... probably because he knew that's one of your weakness, as your reply is always a clear to the centre. You'll need some more variations on this, like a straight or cross drop.
Drew, You have improved Footwork and balance are ever ongoing things to keep practising. Good habits are important. First thing I noticed is when the shuttle is high, you are very slow to lift your racquet arm up and turn your body to the side. At this level of play you won't notice the benefit but as you move up to playing better players, you will notice it gets harder to strike the shuttle properly with your present speed of preparation. Keep practising good, basic techniques, and you have the potential to take your improvement a lot further.
Exert, A) keep both feet on the ground when you serve otherwise, your serve will be illegal B) keep trying to hit the shuttle to the back of the court when clearing.
is this on either side? Forward and backhand that I'm slow to raise my arm up? So practicing on my preparation before hitting the shot?? hahaha thanks I hope so. This week I've been able to play against people above my standard. I went to a Mixed session at Wimbledon
The problem occurs on any overhead forehand side. On the backhand overhead, dont worry about it - just play more round the heads
