hey dude try using metal epoxy resin. it sure will make it heavy.inserta plastic tubing inside the shaft t reduce torque and then u can give it to a 7 or 8 year old. hehe
good thing you got your money back, but this is what you can do with the racquet to fix it and I've done it to a few of my much worse broken racquets. You get a hot glue gun and glue it back together so it looks like it's in its original form, and then you put it as a display piece in your room. If it were genuine, I would have also salvaged the grommets, base grip and butt cap.
Hi all, since 1-2 years i fix my broken rackets and also some of my trainingspartners with carbonmaterial wich is used for modelboats and orthopädik protheses. The racket will weight after fixing ca. 2-4 gramms more than before, so the handling is a little bit difference than before. If you take one more gripband, the handling is not far from before. The first picture were my first tests and for that very sick. My latest fixes are much thinner. Here is my repairing-manual: It is written in german, but you can see pictures and maybe take a translator. What you have to know: Fixing rackets is not for saving money. For me playing with this rackets gives me a feeling of: "I have made fire by myself" as Tom Hanks in Cast Away. It is recommend to string by yourself. Otherwise it makes no sense a cost more money than bying new rackets. Bye, thegrobi
Yes. I tried this way with 2,5 mm Steel-Nails and 2 Component Steelglue. But after short time all shafts did not broke but get a bow. After that I always pull a thin carbon layer around. Then it works and "looks" better than only sicker carbon. Bye, thegrobi
Oh, i see that my manual was deleted. No Problem: I build an own website: www.badminton-tips.de If you don´t find the manuals (2 different) on my "german" page, here are the direct links: Manual 01 Manual 02 On my page i also added a video of a selfmade badminton-tool made with of a fishing rod bye, thegrobi
now i aded some more videostreams of my multifunction fishing rod: http://badminton-tips.de/?Badminton_Basteleien:Baminton-Angel bye, thegrobi
I postet one more repairing-manuel (Methode 03) for broken badmintonrackets. This version is like Nr. 02 very quick to handle, but more durable. The racket weights 3-4 Gramm more than original. Here is the link to Methodes 01-03 The links i posted before, doesn´t funkion anymore for editing. Would be nice, if i get some feedback on my own Page: www.badminton-tips.de There i have implementet some comment-funktions. If you have questions or tips, than please on my website! bye, Ralf
Posted a new Picture of my 42 repaired Rackets on my webpage www.badminton-tips.de Never counted them before, so i´m surprised for that high number. bye, thegrobi
