The Nanoray 800 has been designed to follow in the footsteps of the Nanospeed 8000 -- which is a great stiff headlight racket. Naturally it's going to be great on defense, but one can't claim that it will be no good on offense. No one would say that Bao Chun Lai, who used NS8000, couldn't "press down the shuttle". We all just have different styles, that's all.
    Thanks for the review. :)

"Speed is not about power or control. It's about lightning fast shot making with near-instant 'snap-back' that Nanoray's fast swing and high repulsion will give you. So, if you want to attack with lightning speed, play with Nanoray..."-Yonex-

What's the recommended string for NR800 from Yonex? Anyone? I don't really see it from Yonex website.

if nanoray is in fact a new line that's replacing nanospeed then it's safe to assume that it'll be a series of head light rackets, which are more suitable (for the general public at least) for doubles. if the 800 is going to have similar playing characteristics of both 700s, then it's def. not the racket for me if it only has 3u. will this racket comes in a 2u version?

on a side note it took me 3 months of playing and training with the ns9900 to be able to get a decent smash speed, i think it will be harder for me to smash since the nanorays are lighter. 2u will be perfect because it'll be a bit heavier, yet still head light.

The yonex site says the 800 is only 3u and 4u.
