news is that lin dan is injured

so we can only assumed that is the cause for his withdrawal in hko,

not that he does't want to play.

probably the same injury he got during china open.

This is disappointing. Amid the controversy last week, I thought that Lin Dan deserved a break because he was paving way for Chen Long, and I didn't think that his withdrawal was something to shout about. However, 2 consecutive QFs and he withdraws without a reason? Please, at least respect your fans.

I'm ok, you know, actually I was ready for this even after his win at AG. May be because of this I didn't participate in forum's congrats to LD as for me it was really not so happy news (egoistic I know). I thought he will just take a rest for the finish of the season. Instead of, he participated in CO, after this in HKO.. he really gave a hope he is still here.
And now twice rejecting off the tournaments is really worse than he honestly would take a break till new year. Who needs these 1\3 tournaments sessions? I am here for 2 years, and for the first time LD "injured". In 2 consecutive tournaments.
What a shame. Enough is enough, never be a fan of him else.

Btw, yes, this is nothing new as we've seen CHN players gave W/O in the past..

*to dassad, if you're there, sorry, my man, you're not able to see LD play..But hope you'll enjoy the rest of the matches~you should hook up with some BCers there and have a mini BC get-together!..
..if there will be any actual reason(s)..;)

Yeah, agree with ctjcad. Don't miss the opportunity to meet up with fellow Bcers. Stick a shuttlecock feather on your left ear. They should be able to identify you.:p
Actually it's more difficult to meet fellow Bcer members than your badminton idols.

    let's see..you can:
    1. Send them a PM msg, still a couple more days..
    2. Announce in one of the 2010 HK Open SS threads that you want to meet them..
    3. Do like what nokh88 suggested (j/k, of course)...or wear a really big hat with a sign that says "I Love Badmintoncentral.com"..;)
Anyway, try your best & good luck in trying to meet up w/them!..
