Hi. I think this is an authentic racket, but since I payed so much for the first time for a racquet, I would just like to confirm you know :)

Do you see how when I put my racket flat down, the Voltric 80 words aren't exactly facing up. Is that normal?

    Thanks!

serial code is too low for the racket to be made in 2012 !!!

those codes should be engraved and not printed on , :(

from the photo of the racket head , where the Yonex logo located at 6'oclock look very suspicious to me . One positive would be that most intermediate players could not tell the different in the way it will play ......... thats why I keep saying unless you are an advance player , there is no point in getting a racket over $80

    sorry bro !

on that serial code which is 3004576 ..........they just swapped the last two digit and fill the amount of digit required with two 0.... it is basically 34567 without being too obvious !

YOU CAN CHECK THE OTHER THREAD AND HAVE A READ YOURSELF

LOL you are still so stuck behind the times when the shaft serial numbers are pre-9999999.

The serial numbers are not even the best indication for authenticity.

Please search for squash_mart on this forum.

Just search for "squash_mart" on this forum. The evidence and experiences of countless others speak more.

I would rather have you guys look at my racket to see its authencity though rather than just solely by knowing the buyer because I didn't buy it directly from his shop on ebay if that is fine with you. Thanks.

    Hi ioxyg3n520,

the date code on the cone stated as 09/11/ 2011 instead of 2012... the last digit is mean for (assumed) batch number, i think. Furthermore, all the engraved digit does seems like original YONEX number pattern. Hence.... my advise is... just enjoy your VT80, she is fine!!:)

Personally, i cant fault your VT80. To me it seem legit to me. If you are still doubt about it authenticity, get back to the seller then. I'm sure he is more than willing to discuss the matter with you.

    Hope this help.

    Cheers!

    Best regards,
    Albert

Long story short, your racquet is genuine. Trivia: Eric from squash_mart is Taiwan based, therefore the TW code on your racquet cone.

Go search and you will find these details that I have stated and more.

I've bought my VT80 LTD from RKEP and it's legit. Seems strange that all of a sudden he would sell fakes.
