    Oh my...lots of fainting there..

..hooo, i thought all this time, you guys were referring to the gentleman sitting, alone, right at the back of Rian & Eng Hian with this hand covering his mouth, w/ a curious look:p...*long faint*..he looks "cool", at least to me..:p:);)

I have confirmed reports from the PB. Djarum training gym in Jakarta that Rian is indeed going to be partnered with Yoke [Yonathan Suryatama]. They will appear in Superliga [June 22-July 1] and then the Thailand Open GP Gold [July 3-8]... The Djarum guys who are not playing at the Sudirman Cup is practicing every day in their Djarum gym, including Luluk, Ahsan, etc...

Djarum's expected 3 doubles are now:
    Rian-Yoke
    Fran-Sigit
    Luluk-Ahsan

with possible [yet still lethal] combination of...
Yoke-Fran [recent 2007 Jakarta Open champion]
Yoke-Luluk [undefeated at the 2006 National Championship]
    Sigit-Rian [Sigit's technique and experience + Rian's power, need I say more?!?]

    Rian-Ahsan
    Fran-Ahsan
Yoke-Ahsan [not enough firepower, both are talented playmakers, not hard-core bangers]

    Rian-Luluk
    Fran-Luluk
    Sigit-Luluk

    Most unlikely combo:
Fran-Rian [because they are both bangers, not really playmakers]
Sigit-Ahsan [similar reason as the above, but they are both playmakers]

Hahaha... :D That's my own opinion... but maybe the coaches or players or technical experts have a better opinion. As a layman-fan, we always have opinions... :p

...Not necessarily the best opinion, ;) ...but we just have opinions... Ha ha ha... Maybe between the six doubles player in Djarum's roster, they might have unexpected surprises. We might actually see a Rian-Fran combo... ;)

That guy sitting alone at the back of Rian & Eng Hian with a curious look is Antonius, former world #1 double [with his partner, Denny Kantono] and 1996 Atlanta Olympic Bronze Medalist. Anton is now a doubles specialist coach at his old club, Djarum... that was why he was very focused in watching that Rian-Eng Hian match...

Anton and Denny were excellent as Indonesia's #2 pair throughout the mid-1990s [actually, only around 10 years ago]... but they were always overshadowed by the very very very famous and awesome #1 pair ...Ricky Subagya - Rexy Mainaky, the 1996 Gold Medalist... :p

    It's like this..

..the MD coaches say : "Rian and Fran will have different partners..or if anyone else have any ideas"..;)
(Krisna, C L BAO and yannie raise their hands)..
    ..Krisna says : "Yoke-Fran or Sigit-Rian or Rian-Ahsan or Fran-Ahsan or Rian-Luluk or Fran-Luluk will work"..:p;)
..and then the gals, C L BAO & yannie, in one accord, say : "No no no, don't make it complicated, Krisna, let's do it the simple way and for the benefit of the fans, which should be Rian & Fran.."...:p:D;)

Hahahaha that's correct!!! You know what? Rian loves to use Chinese words.. Some of his favourite words are "Wei, ni hao ma?" and "Yup, dui".. now he is beginning to say "Xie xie ni".. LMAO!!! Oh yeah, I think he's pretty fine now - about training.. didn't complain about headache today. ;)

Confirmed by Rian himself that he's playing with Yoke this year - 2007.
    Frans with Sigit.

First upcoming tournament is Indoleague. Then they'll participate in Thailand Open, Phillipine Open.
Perhaps India Open, Taipei Open, Dutch Open, Denmark Open, French Open etc.
    But not World Championships.

They SHOULD participate in all the Gold GPs like Thailand, Philippines, India and Chinese Taipei. As for the European tourney....quite uncertain...

    For their own best, yes.
I don't mind if they skip all the Asian GPs, but they MUST come to Dutch, Denmark, France. :p:p:p Just kidding.. I know they have to raise their ranking..

Yoke better looking than Fran! So, Rian-Yoke is better!

So now we are 100% certain. :D Yannie and C L Bao, sorry about the unrealized Fran-Rian combo... [this year] Maybe in the coming years... :p

But seriously, I think Yoke is not a bad looking guy either...:) Ok, I am a guy, so I am definitely not a good judge here... Do you know what Yoke looks like? Isn't he better looking than Fran?

If yes, then following the arguments made a few posts ago,
    Rian-Yoke is better than Rian-Fran! :p

Yes, we're 100% sure about this combination.

Of course I know how Yoke looks like.. Many people - even Indonesian players - tell me he is handsome.. hahahaha.. but, well I still prefer Fran. (Mei Ying and C L BAO, you girls know the reason *ha)
