Drop him? Of course not! Cai is a very smart player, either on court or off court. For MD players, age is always not a problem. On the other hand, in China national team, MD is still relatively weak compared to others; and as far as I can see, no younger pairs who can replace them in 1-2 years, thus the coach definitely want him to stay (don’t ignore that Cai is now the captain of China national team which already shows the attitude of the management). The point is whether he’s willing to continue or not. Fortunately, if you’ve read his blog recently, you may find his reply to this issue is quite positive.

Fu is using Li Ning Flame N50 but Cai Yun is not using Li Ning Rocks N33 because the color is not white, but also not Li Ning Woods N90 or Li Ning Flame N55 because to frame-head is full red, so maybe another model ?

It seems you haven't followed the latest news of badminton for quite a long time, cause they just won AE title last month. As for this video, it's a dual meet inside national team, experienced players group against younger players group, finally experienced players won MS,MD&WD while younger players won WS&XD. The guy in black?? I wonder who's the guy you meant. Did you mean Zhang Jun, the former Olympic XD champion who is coaching MD team currently?
Lining also shot a commercial for their badminton equipments last month. It was said that in the commercial, Lin Dan, Cai Yun, FHF, Chen Jin and Wang Yihan became X-man fighting for their dignity. The commercial will be launched on May. This picture was taken during the commercial shooting.
