Hello Finally I got chance to try RKEP Pro6000 (87g, 290mm). The first impression was the paint of racket; RKEP did improve their paint job. I could tell it’s a high-end racket. When I hold it, I felt... a little bit heavier, but it was easy to swing it. I play double most of time now. For the clear and net lift, probably because the head heavier and flex shaft, it made easy to do it. When I did the slow drop shot, it was just nice and surprised close to the net. I am not a big smasher, but when I did, it was just right and clear. For the net shot, it took few shots to adopt it and it wasn’t long. The more I play, the more I like it. I am glad I found one of my favourite rackets. In general, it’s a racket very easy to use it and you can adopt it quickly. Above was just my personal opinions and favour, I hope you can find your Mr. One soon! Best Regards!

My review on RKEP PRO 9000 as follows: Review Date : 27 Feb 2012 Specs : 4UG2 Flex: Stiff Balance: 288 mm Strings: Yonex Nanogy 98 Tension: 22lbs x 24lbs Grip: Karakal PU Super grip Technology : Titanium Power, Nano Power Frame, Super HM Graphite Shaft, High Modulus Graphite + Nano Carbon Resin Racket Impression: This is an extremely beautiful racket in light green colour. The finishing is excellent matching other comparable major brands such as Yonex and Victor. The top wave design looks very much like Victor Superwaves series. Playability: Very high playable especially for attacking players who like to smash and you can feel the power shots playing it. For those who have used before Victor Superwaves series racket, you will feel that this feel almost the same as that. But I feel that for its price, it is definitely worth to buy this racket. Conclusion: This racket's playability is n though this is much suitable for intermediate or advanced attacking player. I will recommend anyone who plays such style to get this racket. Feel: 9/10 Control: 9/10 Power: 9/10 Defence: 8.5/10 Maneuverability: 8.5/10 Pros: Good priced, and generally an good attacking racket. Cons: Head Heavy may not be suitable for beginner. Abit drop in maneuverability compared to PRO 6000. Suitability: intermediate/advanced players Player type: Attacking players
My review on RKEP PRO 6000 as follows: Review Date : 27 Feb 2012 Specs : 4UG2 Flex: Medium Stiff Balance: 292 mm Strings: Yonex Nanogy 98 Tension: 22lbs x 24lbs Grip: Karakal PU Super grip Technology : Low Aerodynamic Frame, Ultra Power Shaft, High Modulus Graphite + Nano Carbon Resin Racket Impression: This is an extremely beautiful racket in blue on the top and white lines with black flowing down to the grip. The finishing is excellent matching other comparable major brands such as Yonex and Victor. The racket low aerodynamic frame looks very much like Victor Bravesword series. Playability: Very high playable especially for doubles players who like to tap on the net and you can feel the fast reflexes and high maneuverability when playing it. For those who have used before Victor Bravesword series racket, you will feel that this feel almost the same as that. But I feel that for its price, it is definitely worth to buy this racket. Conclusion: This racket's playability is excellent and is very much suitable for all levels of players. I will recommend any player to get this racket. Feel: 9/10 Control: 8.5/10 Power: 8.5/10 Defence: 9/10 Maneuverability: 9/10 Pros: Good priced, and generally an all rounder racket. Cons: Smashing power drop abit compared to PRO 6000. Suitability: beginner/intermediate/advanced players Player type: All level of players
It is a surprisingly powerful but easy racket to play with. Read my review previous page. Get one in your favorite specs!
After a doubles game in the weekend and two hour training session Initial Impression of the RKEP PRO 6000 One ting that made me want try this racket was the fact that I could pretty much tailor the spec to suit my style of play, something that has been a problem when buying rackets online. Big props to Eric for making this possible. Specs ===== Dry specs I asked for: 85g / 291mm Dry specs I got (plastic on handle removed ) : 85.90g ~292mm Wet weight I was aiming for: 95g / 291mm Wet weight I got after strings and grip was applied: 95.15g / ~292mm Pretty much right on! Stringing ========== Got the RKEP PRO 6000 strung @ 25lbs with my favourite string the BG80. Hitting time ========== Right off the bat you can tell that this is a very fast racket. It glides through the air effortlessly much like the Victor BS series. I reminds my of my BS09, just a bit less head heavy at the specs I chose. In all my games I had some ridiculous defensive shots that can as just a big surprise to me as it did to my opponent. It felt like there was always a chance of getting the shuttle back no matter how bad the situation looked. Midcourt drives and fast flat exchanges were very good with the PRO 6000. I could have wished for more power when smashing but that might be the trade-off for the brazing defensive abilities the racket offers. Baseline to baseline clears was no problem; the lack of power only really showed when smashing. Touchshots at the net and dropshots from backcourt felt solid even though my timing was a little off coz’ off the speed of the rackethead. To me this racket felt like it would be best suited for doubles where the action is fast and furious or for someone who doesn’t smash a lot in singles but likes to keep every rally alive until he can outmanoeuvre his opponent. Final thoughts from my first encounter with the RKEP PRO 6000 is that it is a solid racket that is very forgiving and easy to play with which will appeal to a wise range of players. It offers very good defensive abilities while lacking a bit on power when smashing, at least at the specs I chose. I really wish it came in a stiffer version like the PRO 9000 though. That would make it a real BS11 “clone”, something I’d personally prefer. But who knows, maybe Eric will come out with more rackets. One can always hope. Regards, Morten
Nice review! Sounds like a good all-round racket, just slightly more balanced version of the BS11. What I'd really love is a Bravesword that carries it's weight in the head like an Armortec does - that is to say, most of it at 12 o'clock - with a BP of around 300, and the same stiffness as the old BS11. Probably wishful thinking as I don't know if the design of the head of the Braveswords can really take anything over 300 without losing noticeable torsional stability. I added lead weights to my BS11 to bring it up to 305mm and it was pretty terrible.
